Hugs to all the poorlies and special thoughts for Toots, Diva, L-L and Sandy

    Afternoon all

Well what a morning I've had
Took my car to the garage to have its once a decade service and Mum brought me back, on the way back I witnessed a Bag snatch - what a scrot - from an elderly lady who was on a mobile scooter thingy, called the police who came very quickly and am now waiting for them to come round to mine so that I can give a statement, this happened at my Mum'e estate which is 2 miles from mine but I've seen the scrot hanging around on my estate so I'm also going to ask for an incident number so if I see him again I cam phone 999 and get him nabbed if he hasn't been by then. The elderly lady wasn't hurt luckily enough but she was on her way to her son to give him her holiday money that she'd saved [for him to look after] so the dirty theiving g!t got away with about £150 - man am I angry with him

Off to find a list now and see what needs to be done

I'm quite pleased with my progress. Lunch now, then town. I'd like to do the big bookcase in the LR tonight, but we're supposed to be out with the kids - it's the local supporters' club 'player of the year' award at the club, with Toby Tyke and other 'highlights' - can you tell I'm (not) excited. :p I can't see DS2 last long - he loves music, but hates it when it's loud.

I have managed to sort out extracting my savings and moving them to my current account to pay the builders...

Postman has been - letter about 2010 tax return has been delivered this morning  First day of the year and they're already expecting it to be filled in... surely they know by now that I ALWAYS leave it till the very last minute.

Skip hire company say they've already collected the last skip . So what's the thing currently sitting in the middle of the drive then?

Glorious day here so catching up on lots of washing - all drying outside. DS playing in his tent and gardening later = a nice day pottering.

    Moam

Hope you have a lovely day in the sunshine. We've got some here, but it's VERY cold if you happen to be sitting still doing boring work...
