Back from a lovely break in Bude - it was pure bliss not having to cook for 2 whole days! DH gave me half a large After Eight easter eggs and me being a pig ate all of it and now feel a bit icky :o. Bad news as BIL's dad passed away this afternoon, he had a clot in his leg on Thursday and deteriorated quickly despite a 5 hour op. He was very ill before, had loads wrong, so at least he won't be suffering any more. Still awful for those left thought isn't it.

I haven't looked at anything else so sending love and hugs to everyone. Off to bed now as cream crackered - goodnight all xx

Mating season? Or has that already been and gone?

I don't know although we did see a swan sitting on a nest so i'm wondering if there were eggs in there. I think because it was so sunny everyone had the same idea and by the time we got there they were all full.

Well, I had a lovely evening with Frodders, Greenbee and JJ (strict alphabetical order!) and I think I've managed not to poison them... I hope they enjoyed themselves.

BB loved the company but was v. vocal on occasions for some reason - not like her at all.

Oh and I have to thank the mum with 5 children who was at the Chichester meet today for a little parcel of goodies that came my way :)

DW has been put on, kitchen table back where it normally lives (against the wall rather than pulled out) and I'm hoping the others have a safe journey home.

    Hello again all

back from the church quiz with the in laws and family, we came 5/12 so not too bad, would've been better if I'd spoken a bit louder about a couple I was more sure of than I said! Never mind.

Have just had a weep as DH is now not leaving skegness til 11pm so won't be home til nearly 4am :( feel so worried as the people driving are very tired and I'm emotional enough as it is. They were supposed to leave at 10pm and DH has ranted at them that it's not fair on me at the moment. He has to go again Monday, Thursday and next sat. :(:(:(

can I have safe travelling vibes for them please.

on a flying note have hung the washing up, my stuff is ready for tomorrow and so I will take myself to bed soon I guess.

  • Would anyone mind if I joined in? Had a look at the first page and this seem's to be what I need. Me and hubby both work and then have to juggle kid's, pets and various out of school things. My house has suffered big time so I try not to have people over now.

I have a week off next week so it will be a good opportunity to get on top of it but I am easily distracted so having a list will help. You all seem a friendly lot as well. (Must confess to skipping the 70 odd pages between first and last post lol)
