You are joking - it's only April.
At least May before we can assume spring is staying.

Giggling here! You are right of course, and now I should maybe admit that my impatience to make my new place more like home has meant that I've already killed one lot off bedding plants as they got frosted, and have been nursing the latest lot in my shed for nearly a month!

I couldn't wait any longer

So, I spent most of the afternoon digging out weeds from between the slabs on the aptio, brushing it cleaning, filling pots with soild, and planting. Then as a reward for good behaviour I took myself off to the local "proper" garden centre and bought some herbs, which have been outside in the weather here, so should be OK, I hope..... please......

I've been very old style, the previous owners had some terracotta drainage sort of things in the kitchen as a wine rack, so I've put them on the patio, upended them and filled them with compost ready for the herbs tomorrow..... Tick! :T

Writing my list of stuff to go.. I have managed a grand sum of very little.. there is just so much!!

I have offered a large parcel of stuff to a friend for her boys.. they are just a bit smaller than DS3 so might be needed.

Oh.. good news RE Tiddles verucca.. It has gone it looks like.. I just ragged the last scaly evil bit of it off before bed.. that screaming you all heard was her!! It was hanging off I wasn't being entirely horrible! She has a hole in her toe now.. she is such a pappy child that one.. scared of everything which to see her you wouldn't think she would be!

Oh yes.. the idea is if you keep up with the lists during the week you have weekends free and time to enjoy your family rather than blitzing all weekend too!

Look at my lovely attic!! The piles are for Nearly New Sale (8th May), storage in SIL's garage, and empty boxes.

Have spent the day relocating [STRIKE]hundreds[/STRIKE] thousands of photos to lovely new photo storage boxes (700 per box) and decluttering various mis-matched albums and photo envelopes/boxes/bags. Now they are all together (nearly) in one place. I feel so organised! :A Now I just need to get rid of the thousand surplus books in my dining room and kitchen to the book sale next weekend! And find temporary storage for another thousand or so whilst building work is done (starting first week May). :)

Feeling jealous of Greenbee, Soappie et al and their lovely supper. Still, I guess I have Harry Potter...

I have a HUGE list of stuff to go and have offered loads to DS1 as well and the pile to my friend.. I just have 3 huge stacking boxes to go through now!!
