Well that DID NOT go to plan. We left at 10am and crawled up the M/way. Stuck in the boring 50 limit bit, yawn, yawn. Thought it was quiet in the back and then DS2 decided to be travel sick. Spectacularly, and all over himself and my car. Absolutely nothing I can do but keep driving 5 miles till the next exit so we only made it as far as J28 where I had to buy him new trousers and t-shirt to travel home in. My car stinks of sick :(. DS1 is fuming because he wanted to go to Hotel Chocolat and have adrink and a cake with the 'star ladies'. I am sad for poor DS2 who feels rough and guilty.

I hope that you were not fretting as to where we were. Mostly stuck in the toilets at McArthur Glen trying to clean a small boy up. He did this a month ago as well but has never done it before. Why get to 5 and suddenly start being car sick?

Time for a HHC to clean out my car and his car seat, but I need a cup of tea first.

Notso, Rugby is half an hour from me. Which puts it out of DS2s spew free travelling distance.

Hex so sorry to hear about DS2. An old wives tale says to sit them on newspaper to stop sickness you could try it?

I've done an hour of light weeding. Played outside with DS3 - his injury has made us all take much more time to do things with him which can only be good.

DS1 used up the rest of the gingerbread dough and made bicuits.
DS2 used up the bacon and onion and made wraps
DS3 has used the cress he started growing at school for a sandwich
I have used up the last portion of LPC soup from the fridge

I love a good old use it up session.

Going to cut up a pineapple for the kids and head back out for another HH in the garden.

You've had 5 years of sick free travel.. lucky moo... DS2 was sick on the way home from hospital at 9 days old lol.. I have 3 that get sick going from my house into town which is about 10-15 minutes in bad traffic!! I swear DD2 gets travel sick walking!! try stugeron for bigger journeys.. it has to be taken a while before travelling but is so much better than the usual stuff that doesn't even work on my lot. This alters the pressure in the inner ear rather than stopping the stomach working properly. Word of warning.. it does make you feel a bit lightheaded and queasy about half an hour after taking it but is brilliant after that.

    Hello all

Today's list has been started, and I'm having a (long) time-out and a catch-up with Fred.

Lemanie Hoppy Birdday; have a great one.:D

Natty sorry I wasn't around at 09:00; (was flaked out on the sofa at that time) but I hope your appointment went well. Also sending healing vibes for your two woofers to get over their kennel cough.

Continued posi-vibes to Diva; I imagine she's well peed off with it all now, and will be glad when all the hossy stuff is over and she can get home to recuperate.

Thanks to a) having the most helpful DH south of Hadrian's Wall:A and b) having neither an upstairs nor kids, today's list is quite an easy one for me. I'm glad, because my poor paws are giving me mega-gyp today. Mr LW reckons it's time to get the hated metal wrist-splints out of hibernation.:( I don't want to, as I loathe them with a vengeance, but I fear he's right.:(

Doglets came out to help me put a machine-load of washing on the line, which exercise culminated in me decluttering dog-poo from the back lawn *insert Rolleyes smilie*. Lucky for me, Mr LW cut the grass after work yesterday, so it was easy to pick up.

    I hope those attending today's meet-up are having a fab time.:o

ETA: Ooh, I cross-posted with Toots; glad that Natty's lump turned out to be nothing really nasty.:)
