It would appear I am going to Chichester AND Southampton tomorrow :p:p Good to see people are sorting my social life for me ;):p :rotfl:Could someone let me know what's happening? Ta
I'm going to leave you and soappie & jue to work out tomorrow night's plan, and let me know what you're up to. I don't know what time I'll finish my walk or how I'll be feeling!

Better go and have a shower then try to work out flights for next month's travel which appears to be getting complicated....

New bedding for the spare room is now in the washing machine, so it will be nicely line dried and smell nice and any nasty shop chemicals will be removed.

Ebony's blanket is on the line, but think I'm going to stick it in the TD as that removes the fur better.

Fitted sheet on the bed and pillow cases located. Just need OH to find the pillows when he's finished the shelves in the airing cupboard as they are in the loft apparently.

    I am back
Mother has been and is now on her way back home.
carer has been and I have had lunch and a chat with her.

Rest of the day is more or less clear - the joiners are coming to get paid and a freegler might be popping in for some stuff - she has had from me before and she will try to come in if she can between driving lessons - she's an instructor.

so I am feeling like being industrious because if I dont i will be sleeping!!!

will go and finish dailies i think first

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

  • harumph!! that didn't go too well *stomps in moodily*.....bl**dy shredder, stomp stomp.....

started to clear my cabinet, started shredding, all going swimmingly well......

thunk to self....shredders going well, it'll take more sheets of paper than that.....

    ooops!

spent next 20 mins trying to unwedge half-shredded paper with screwdriver,[STRIKE] best[/STRIKE]only tweezers......got most out but still not working in forward mode, just reverse, but when in reverse, nothing comes out

just going to remove all screws now & see what I can do.....

luckily, kids in garden & have no idea....they did some shredding for me earlier in the week & I impressed upon them how important it was to only do 'a few sheets at a time'.......:o

OH said 'wait for me to get home & I'll fix it for you' ahhhhh! Only problem is , he can only fix things with a big hammer  & I'm hoping to get this working so I can carry on.

...there's bits of bl**dy paper everywhere......

...and I was doing so well.... :Dexit stage left, armed with lots of tools (and a dustpan)

PC desk - I seem to collect bits of paper with notes on them. Does anyone have a good way of keeping these on puter or other solution?

A word document kept on the computer desktop? Once they're typed in, you can cut and paste to other documents.

Oh, and something obvious to put them in on the actual desk top so they're herded in one place!:rotfl:

  • Good afternoon all

I didn't manage much of the list yesterday but did spend an hour in the kitchen trying to clear up and also went food shopping but was absolutely shattered after that.

Did 3 loads of washing and the kids hung this on the line.

    Today I will

do 30 mins in kitchen (trying to keep ontop of this)
1 hour in utlility and hall/ downstairs loo (these are really grotty)
30 mins filing/shredding (way way behind)
Get DS to mow lawn in back garden
Get DD to clean the inside of the car
    another 3 loads of washing.

Will see about pain levels when I have finished this.... but will look at lists to see if I can cherry pick from there.

    Have already:
Phoned work to answer queries they had with my cases
Tried to complete self assessment tax return - for the 3rd time - complete failure - so called local office and they are sending me paper copies - but I have found the necessary paperwork.
Made part payment on missing mortgage payment.
Also clear hundreds of emails as they had not been down loaded for 2 weeks whilst I was in hospital.

Right off to have some lunch as have missed breakfast - will catch up later.
