once again I've been reading the updates on my phone so not posting; today is the first chance I've had to catch up properly. I find your posts so thought provoking.
But one thing struck me, not about money at all; when I read that you run a lot, I visualise you as tall, muscular etc. so I take it that your 'traditional build' is not the same as Mma Ramotswe, as I can't imagine her running anywhere!
Did you complain about the hotel?
Gilly, may be not the Africal traditional build but still a stick insect I am not. But I will be one day soon - have stuck a picture a perfectly skinny woman in my vision book (another matter that I tried to stick it in with lip gloss thinking it is glue:rotfl:).
About the hotel, we did tell the receprionist about it; but it is an Airport hotel and they rely on passing trade; so not pulling their weight. Scandal! When I got stuck in Dusseldorf before Christmas the Aiport hotel was clean, organised and, well we may as well say it, rather lovely and welcoming.

FW - You can dream about a skinny build, but you have to accept what 'god' and your parents gave you first.
Having met you 'in the flesh' so to speak, I think you are lovely just the way you are. But what I think, doesn't really matter. However, do consider that skinny women have no padding to cushion the blow when they trip and often a restricted diet leads to increased risk of osteoporosis and damage to fertility, livers and kidneys.
Instead, why not dress to enhance your assets, you are a knock-out now, but think what funding you could achieve with distraction!!!

p.s. Do you know about Freecycle? it is a great way to get rid of stuff you don't want to take to the tip or things that are too heavy to sell. Also some charity furniture people collect.0 -
