My cats are on Pets at Home Purely, they have the wet and dry. I definitely think it is one of the best when it comes to meat content and cost.
Very moneysaving :)

Agreed. I have recently moved my cat on the P@H purley range. Very good quality for the price.

Even at full price the purley more meat dry food is only £7.99 for 1.5kg.
I feed a combination of the wet and dry and my cat seems to be doing really well on it.

p@H currently have an offer on their purley range so good time to stock up :)

Our cat has it's own glass of water as he won't drink from a bowl

how funny....this worked a treat ......lololo mickey now has his own wine glass of water ! He loves it! Maybe its just the right height and he was being lazy not wanting to stoop to drink !!!!

So one less thing to worry about!

Still searching for a friend for him though! He really misses having a playmate since tigga died but all the rescue centres I have been to so far seem to have only cats that 'cannot be homed with other cats'

I read somewhere about cats find it easier to eat when their food & drink is higher than floor level, certainly was in Orbit's case.

Re water.... on my bedside table I have
a) small bottle of water for ME
b) large glass of water for cats!!
Saves my precious princess having to come downstairs when she fancies a slurp in the middle of the night. Shame is the bigger kitties have cottoned on to the drink station and now I regularly have 15lb of cat standing on my pillow...and my head!...at 3am leaning over for a drink.

My cat prefers drinking from the dog bowl than his own, each to their own. I put him on P@H dry as I was having trouble finding something he would eat, and was trying everything, this is one he loves. If you feel you are making the right choice for you and your family then thats enough, just always make sure there is fresh water for your cat once you find something he likes to drink out of.

There's some info at http://www.barkingheads.co.uk/for-cats/ . The salmon one is nearly 80% meat and low on fillers, so high protein and low carb. British made and no junk in it.
