Hi Doodledo
I had a nightmare time, took 45 minutes to get from the road the car boot sale is on down to the car boot sale and into the carboot sale and then to park. Only had about 30 mins to look around before I had to leave as the kids were coming back about 12.30. I got a summer dress for DD3 for 50p, some Monsoon jeans for her for £1 and a Next all in one sleepsuit for 50p, plus I got some Next jeans for 50p for DD3.
It was really busy at the one I went too but had to rush around so was rather disappointed with the long time it took to get there. If I went to that one again I'd have to go about 9am as it must be like that every Sunday, I feel sorry for the people who have to go down that road to get to where they live must be a nightmare.
Kids are back now, it's strange when they have been away and then come back, at least they are back at school tomorrow and Melvyn (the class monkey) will be going back, DD1 got him as she got the Merit band, he's been all over the place and had his picture taken everywhere, even got his feet measured when I took the to get new school shoes lol.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Hey, where's everyone disappeared? Are we all on the right track with our aims for this year? I'm not. Plodding on with the s.loan clearance and that really takes care of itself so I think I should come up with some other proper aims as well. Life's just being bit weird atm and I might not be making the right decisions because I've decided to have a bit of fun...not in a money spending way though, or maybe a teeny weeny bit. Nowt interesting anyway.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Well, it's kind of fun, at times, and then confusing the rest of the time.

Every thread I've subscribed to seems to be quiet at the moment.
Glad you are having some fun Tirl.
Got DD3's birthday next Thursday, luckily the kids are off school so we can do something, my parents are coming up to see her too, I said to OH about taking the day off but he said no that he will be back in the afternoon but I said that he will miss her opening her presents but he doesn't seem that bothered, unless he is taking the day off and not telling me.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
I'm being bit quiet myself but then it's especially nice to read what others are up to.
BT went through yesterday. Will update sig in a minute. Now just have to wait to get the online banking details for Santander card and wait for virgin statement that probably arrives after bank holiday.
What's everyone's plans for BH weekend? I'm supposed to be mostly on the beach, so hopefully the weather improves. Going home after work yesterday was the first time I had to cycle in rain, not so bad as was homewardbound.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Hi all,
I am still around, just not getting much time to post as I am at home in Ireland. Having a brill time and paid £300 off my credit card but unfortunately have been racking up quite a bit of money on another credit card from being at home as I was at my sisters hen and we are christening the baby this weekend. This has been an expensive month and have my sisters wedding in June. Am hoping I can use my AQA earnings to pay off the other credit card. Haven't even earnt the minimum payout on that since Max was born so need to get moving on it.
Hope everyone is wellTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
