Ooops, been AWOL for a while and missed so much on here.
TMD - my nan is that age too and I only see her twice a year, I know how you feel. I like to think back to when she was younger and more 'with it' though. When I was little I was staying the night at her house once, and in bed crying because I missed my parents. She heard me, came upstairs, put my coat on me (on top of my PJ's) and took me to the chippy :rotfl:. It was probably only around 11pm but it felt like the middle of the night to me and very exciting!
CAFC - just read your news. Any decision yet? Cambridge is lovely!0 -

Hi Snow White
Your nan sounds like a lovely lady, what a lovely thing to do, it is so sad that they have to get old.
Years ago my Grandad bought me a little Stan Laurel toy in a matchbox, I have it in the draw next to me, must have had it for about 30 years now, I always used to call him 'my little Laurel' as one day when we stayed with them he came down the stairs rubbing the top of his head like Stan Laurel did, the time has flown by so quickly.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

Hi Doodledo
I am OK thanks, how are you?
My eldest two come back tomorrow, it's been nice to have a break from the arguing, I've missed them though, DD3 has missed them too. Might go to the Car Boot sale tomorrow morning before they come back with DD3 I like to look around.
How is your daughter? How old is she?Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
I am off to the car boot in the morning too, try and grab some bargains to sell on Ebay.
My little girl is fine, she is at her nannies for the night. She is 5 nowProud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Hi Doodledo
Hope you find lots of bargains at the car boot sale, I am trying to get everything in order before I go as kids are back at lunchtime. My eldest is 5, she'll be 6 in June and my middle daughter will be 5 in July, DD3 is 2 on 6 May (election day) think the schools shut on that day so that will be good we can do something nice.
What sort of things do you look for when you go to car boots? I like to look at the kids clothes for Next stuff.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Hey TMD. Well the boot sale was a huge disappointment, I thought it would be heaving with the nice weather but maybe everyone is out enjoying the sunshine instead.
Yeah I tend to buy kids clothes, Next, Monsoon etc, you can pick them up for like 20p at the boot sales and sell them on for a few quid :TProud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712
