hi cafcgirl
playing with landen sounds good use of time to me LOL
Today has been quite busy. I was doing sunday school this morning for teenagers and then had 2 of the kids friends over, then another kids friend arrived and then 2 adults and another kid arrived so it has all been go today. DS1 and his friend made flapjacks - slight tough but still yummy!
It did make us get the kitchen straight... I also cleaned out 3 freezer drawers which was a result... Tidied up the front room too! Packed and unpacked the dishwasher three times.... Did 2 loads of washing and hung it out on the line....
:j:j:jThe best thing financially this weekend - was getting a CC statement through and finding out I had miscalculated how much we owe by 1K in our favour!!!! We owe £1K less than I thought we did:j:j:j Tomorrow MIL is also going to give us £600 she promised for OH's 40th birthday which we are paying straight off our debt so that is also good!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I was just lounging on the sofa and thought I would see how you ladies were getting on, seems my timing is good! CAFC Landen is gorgeous, congrats to you and OH.
I need to work out my goals. The first is easy, my exciting thing is that I should be debt free by 18th December. I also need desperately to lose weight. I am currently X stone 7lbs, I want to be minus one stone by 18th December. The other two goals, this may take some thinking. I want to be 100% Christmas ready by 18th and, err, gosh, what to choose as number 4???
Oh yes, I forgot to say howdy to everyone £34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

I wish i ad miscalculated my debt by 1k... or even 10k would be even better.....
PAID - Re-post the goals post above with your update and we can keep that updated with our progress when we make some
Saving - That sounds like one FULL on day
DH is back at work tomorrow for his 3 days of 12 hours, so its just me, Landen and Gordon...must be proactive tomorrow!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
The miscalc was really a "hearing problem" - as you know you can ring up and get the balance over the phone it really sounded like I owed around £3700ish rather than £2700! The first statement I thought it must just have gone through afterwards it was only the second statement I believed at £2753! Yes it was a fab surprise!
MIL has given us the £600 she promised us so that should be coming off our Po CC soon. She gave me the cheque today and it was in the bank my lunchtime LOL! Should be ready for use by Friday.
OH and I are going to the cinema tonight... I was up early this morning tho and currently feel like I could go to bed for an hour... might do that!
Hope all is well in your world!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

hi cafcgirl sorry you've not had a good day. I went to bed for an hour and half before the cinema. I watched the expendables but felt it should have been an 18 I was a bit shocked as it was only a 15 and lots of blood spatter etc. OH loved it!!! (roll eyes smiley here)
Hi starnac - good luck with getting the first payments together....
I have joined the one debt vs 100 days part 4 challenge too. Trying to clear 2 tho!!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
