hi CMD thanks for starting the thread. i have a few things i'd like to achieve this year as it's my "set up" year - it's the year where i start laying foundations for what i want in the future if that makes any sense.

so my "set us up" aims for this year is

to save enough money for a deposit to buy our own house
to save money to cover my maternity period
to pay off as much of the remaining debt we have ready to clear it all next year

well we have saved enough for a deposit and have had an offer accepted on a house just down the road from my parents. we are just waiting for a completion date now so we can move in. haven't got far with either of the other two aims as we have been concentrating on the deposit so 1/3 not bad.

    hows everyone else doing??

Great to see you back here :)

Abd what great news that you have found a house! I am homesick for Ireland so we are hoping to move within the next year if OH can get a job. We will then be saving for a deposit for a house as well. Lots of similarities there!

Are you very excited about the move?

I'm good thanks starnac. Yes, my bf goes to Boulders a lot and I sometimes. I'd like to do it more often but volleyball is too expensive.

I feel I've lost my way somewhat. Hopefully I'll have time tonight to think a bit and come here for a bit as well. Work computer has been a mess lately and not let me in anywhere. It's been sorted today and on a different computer atm.

    But, under 8k!!!! :)
