Have I been caught speeding?

Hi,
I'm not sure whether I've been caught speeding... As I drove past a parked pick-up like looking car, side facing the traffic, I saw the driver of the car waggle his finger suggesting his disapproval with my apparent speed.
The van didn't look to be a police marked car (I don't think at least) and there aren't any signs where they were parked however I don't believe either of these things make a difference.
What are peoples thoughts? Wait 2 weeks and pray?

were there any speed camera signs on roadside? or were you going to fast to see them?
as for the cameras being in a marked police car - our local cops used a clapped out old navy blue ford transit van (its the worst kept secret in the area).
oh and i doubt that any copper on speed patrol would wag a finger at you - be more likely to have a huge grin as the quota gets filled!0 -
There was one ~7 miles previously however straight after this sign is a speed camera.were there any speed camera signs on roadside?
That's what I'm thinking. Roadworks are happening ~1 mile or so from where he was parked so it could have been a motorway maintenance type guy, fingers crossed!oh and i doubt that any copper on speed patrol would wag a finger at you - be more likely to have a huge grin as the quota gets filled!0 -
In future if you dont do any speeding you wont have to do any worrying.
Learn from it.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Agreed if you are going to drive badly at least drive very slowly and badly and if you are going to dive fast then drive well.0 -
