    I have a suggestion:

All the hpc.co.uk rejects like hamish, nollag, Rinoa, etc. should have a get together and engage in some group therapy sessions and finally confront some deep-rooted personal issues that have become apparent..

Rejection really can be a terrible thing. :rotfl:

It really annoys you that the bulls were right.:D

Yes Hamish. You were right. House prices only ever go up. The economy is flourishing. The level of debt in the UK is not an issue. Housing is as affordable as it's ever been.

Is that enough for you to get closure?

Any chance you can start posting threads that are relevant to house prices and the economy?

    Great news for the UK.

The better we get back to no-one being able to afford property the better. That should get the market returning to normal :P

You really do have nothing in your life do you?

I think that's blindingly obvious to us all, except Hamish.

Peeps forget that in the 1929-33 Crash there were 6 or 7 bear-rallies before a bottom was reached, and in every one another groups of peeps decided 'this was it' and bought-in only to get bankrupted on the next slide.

With £200B printed money and all manner of other market distortions, who knows what will happen.

But Britain is getting poor, fast. That doesn't say to me that flats in Swansea are fairly priced at £250,000.

Of course, if you are happy to be a momentum investor then GET IN!

Hamish if you take a long enough timeframe you will always be right. The Bulls were wrong in 2007 and prices did fall. Prices maybe now going back up again but that doesn't mean the price falls didn't happen and somehow you were correct all along.

Hahahaha. Far to early to say what will happen to housing. Now being propped up by voodoo measures, in time, we will have to come back to some sort of reality. By the cringe, 0.5% interest rates, lowest in 317 years ! Billions of pounds pumped into the economy just to stop it caving in ! And Hamish comes out with this. Couldn`t make it up!
