    Hi All

I still can't see what the problem here is ..... effectively it would be the same as BT porting a customer across to C21N ... when it happens, it just happens ...... I am also pleased that others agree that this is not a slamming issue.

As mentioned in an earlier post, the only possible reason for complaint would be a reduction in service quality/speed and as the equipment & technology used by TT is effectively the same as BT's C21N it is a move which almost mirrors what BT would/will do themselves ..... the only recourse for the OP (slik0000) to consider is to provide stats to show a quality of service reduction.

Going on to contract periods, I believe that the TT standard contracts move to a rolling monthly basis at the end of a fixed term unless the customer renews through retentions, I'm not sure but would guess that the Tiscali offering would now be the same, so whether there is an opportunity for the OP to negotiate for something (router etc) with retentions is really a personal matter, but it would be prudent to check the current contracted status all the same ...

    Cheers ... :)

I managed to do this with the Bulldog retentions team last year

Once you're out of contract term and as long as you are full LLU (phone and BB from provider) they should match the cheapest price out there. :D

Amazingly for me that was the Tiscalli tariff (who took over Pipex who took over Bulldog).

8 meg + line rental was £30  now £20 agreed to 12 months and they chucked in a new modem :T

for me it worked out around the same as a migration and switch to O2 (inc cashback) but without the hassle of changing :) Plus my exchange will be upgraded BT shortly to superfast by the time that runs out :D

I heard a lot of the Tiscalli customers being migrated by TT got offered the same + call package to stay. Well exactly the same as they were paying :rotfl: still £5 a month cheaper than anything else out there

If you can get cheaper leave (I seriously doubt that though) if now try to haggle :money:
