cheap doesnt always equal good. With broadband the general consensus (which has been for years) is that you get what you pay for.

Use adslguide.org.uk's comparison charts to compare the better providers. You'll get an honest reflection there!

    Personally i'd avoid tiscali.
  • eclipse - £14.99 up to 8mb (depending on line) and pretty much unlimited. You get a 20gb peak cap, 6pm-12pm i think, but if you go over this they just reducxe your speed to around 2mb.

pm if you want a link

i had alook at eclipse earlier, but the prices and options are wiered. i didn't quite understand the differant options on the evolution package.

    1. Offer price for first 3 months, standard price applies (Option 1 for £14.99, Option 2 for £18.99, Option 3 for £24.99, Option 4 for £29.99) thereafter, 12 month contract applies, offer ends 31st August.

I would never change from BT, they are very good for sorting out problems, they may be a pain in the backside sometimes but you do get what you pay for with BT.

My brother switched from BT to Tiscali, then switched back to BT :D

Option 1 would work out £9.99 for the first 3 months then £14.99 after for upto 8MB and 20 GB peak time limit , off peak unlimited.
