I'm also doing quite well at sticking to my meal plans at the minute. Apart from a slight blip involving slightly off smelling chicken last week!! Here's this week's

Saturday - HM pizza and salad (dough is rising as I type)
    Sunday - tea at Mum's
Monday - afternoon tea party at mum's so will probably have leftovers for tea!
Tuesday - Rosemary chicken (bbc good food) with mash and veg.
Wednesday - Mushroom burger, roll, salad
Thursday - breaded chicken, roll, wedges, salad (quick tea as we're out waling all day)
Friday - tea at OH's parents
Saturday - Turkey chilli, rice, salad
Sunday - roast pork (leftovers from freezer), spuds, veg, stuffing
Monday - pork & rice 1 pot (leftovers from freezer)
Tuesday - Taco bake, salad, wedges. (taco bake will be made up as I go along, its using up some leftover taco spiced minced beef that I froze when we had taco's a few weeks ago, I'll probably add some chopped tomatoes, a few mushrooms and onions and then top it with sliced potatoes).

Have a good week everyone x

  • Hi all. This is what we're eating

Monday Chicken roast with everything (should have been today, but put off til DD2 comes home from a christening in London)

Tuesday Salmon crispbakes, potato bake and leftover veg.

Wednesday Take out curry for DD2s birthday. DD1 will join us as will DD3, OH and DGS.

Thursday I'm working late so leftover chilli pasta bake from freezer with HM garlic bread.

Friday HM veg soup made from chicken carcass.

Saturday Legs off the chicken with salad and savoury rice.

Sunday Lamb chops with pots, carrots and cabbage. Mint sauce of course. That will be for three, maybe four as DGS is staying for a week and DD2 often finds herself in the neighbourhood lol.

    Can I jump in too?

I'm very very skint this week and need to try and not do any shopping! So I'm hoping I can do all this from the cupboards/freezer.

Monday- Moussaka, rocket and tomato salad.
Tuesday- fritatta. I really really fancy this.
    Wednesday -Roasted Red Pepper Pasta.
Thursday- Chicken Kiev and chips and tomato salad
    Friday- At Mums
    Saturday-Tuna/sweetcorn pasta - tomato salad
    Sunday- Quiche, chips, peas

Do you see I have a lot of tomatoes!

Thats's really good as it's shown me I don't need to go anywhere near a supermarket all week. I have cous cous/nan breads/soups in cupboard for luches and can make a loaf.
    Cereals/toast for brekkie.
Got butter for making a cake of some description.
If I drink black coffee I can do a whole week without spending anything except the petrol needed to get to mums. Wahey!
