Why would you want a BE homepage?
And AOL's web interface is just awful (as it all of it's software).
You're lucky enough to have Be and O2 available LLU on your exchange, so you can get your connection for as little as £7.50 pm.
AOL are regularly bottom of the table in every ISP review conducted.
It's really not a tricky decision to make.
did you ever have aol yourself macman? - I didnt find it as bad as some people say, maybe I am just easy going0 -
No-one is forced to put up with any ISP. Even if you have no LLU options there are still dozens to choose from.
No, I have never had AOL, but have seen plenty of people who never realised how bad it was until they tried something else.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

I thought that a lot of the "big" ISPs are LLU-only and that there are not that many who still use BT as a wholesale provider.0 -
Most of the big ones are-yet most still offer a non-LLU service. TT (the biggest) will happily sell you a non-LLU service for example, so will O2.
Many of the smaller resellers are relatively anonymous, because they don't have the marketing budgets of the big guys (Zen, NDO). Plusnet is probably the exception to that.
I'm guessing that anyone has the choice of maybe 50 ISP's-but the odds are that they will only know 5 of those by name.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Just wondering "be" boast of their fast download speed AND fast upload speed, I know you might need a good upload speed if using P2P but in everyday internet surfing how would you benefit from a fast upload speed - I mean why would your upload speed be important0

I mean why would your upload speed be important
Gaming, Skype - conference calling, uploading lots of / large files. Most people don't need fast uploads - so it's more for online gamers / people working from home.0 -
