I received one of my strawberry plant orders yesterday...when i opened the box i thought they were all dead...then i read the leaflet and it said 'they might look dead on arrival' or somehting like that. I let the roots have a good soak in some water and then i planted them in my troughs...hopefully the second order I placed will come today or tomorrow and then i can plant them up too. Thanks again to the OP for the headsup on this offer.
RE: strawb containers...in B &M each strawb container tier is only 99p at the moment. So effectively, you can have a 3 tier strawb planter for less than £3.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

Wow this is a great deal, and if you don't already know Cambridge variety are a lovely mild strawberry you rearely get a 'sour' one. They also send out loads of shoots, l was constantly staking them down and getting more plants for next year.
Having said that, we never had any in the house, they were eaten as we worked in the garden!

Hi has anyone else received their orders? Got all excited when I saw this saying order arrived, but that was a week ago and I'm still waiting. I know it said upto 28 days, so perhaps I'm being impatientbut I ordered on the 2nd and was wondering if katholicos was just lucky or others who ordered then had also got them. Thanks Snapdragon

Hope you get sorted with your plants soon! I ordered from J Parker and they arrived within a couple of weeks just - they were planted on the public holiday here in March (17th). They appear to be coming on well but how much depth do they need in soil?0
