Can my girlfriend claim for tax credits?

Thank you. I have explained the situation to the HMRC and they're happy with the fact that im not living there, so she'll put a claim in for tax credits and see what she gets.
After reading that i think i agree with you. Im going to sit down and talk to her tonight and see if we can really make a proper go of with living together. At least that way all the snobby people on here will be happy that she wont be claiming tax credits.
Nothing to do with benefits, but I think a family should be together if they can so I hope it works out for you.0 -
