lost, I would definitely not feel guilty about replacing the Estee Lauder product. It's tried and tested and proved itself so a justifiable purchase!
Do you read Martin's email cover to cover?
I don'tand have luckily chanced upon a goodie while checking out ISA providers. In case anyone else missed it, buy a Telegraph on Sat or Sun, (£1.80 and loads of easy weekend-reading, never mind the heavy stuff) and get a £5 Body Shop Voucher , no minimum spend , so effectively £5's worth free products if you usually buy a weekend paper anyway!! Just the job for me to sensibly stock up on the £5 tube of hemp hand protector .
£8.50ish was enough to stock me up on Aldi Lacura Q10 anti ageing night cream, restorative day cream and a Double Firming Serum.........is that price a joke compared to what I've been paying at Boots? Used the full works for the first time tonight, it's quite perfumed and I'd prefer it not to be but will be able to tell in a fairly short time whether it's doing anything for me as the skin-firming benefits of the P&P were really noticeable. It would be great if it did the job! Used the Boots giftcard to buy some pharmacy stuff for DD and she's given me the £6 cash, which has practically paid for the new creams
Got rid of a few containers from the bathroom. Scraped a small Sanctuary Butter into a big pot of DD's. We can share:D. Chucked an empty Pantene conditioner of DD's, she's abandoned the shampoo so a few more squirts there for me to use up. Used up a couple of random cream sachets while we're watching tele on hands.
Talking of DD, the Soap and Glory hatbox she got for Christmas seems to be a bottomless pit???????????? Or is she not being quite as truthful as she could be about the multiplicity of S&G products that are around the place.......;)0 -
OK, not MS at all and not helping me use up any toiletries either but, really hurt by this.... Just to say I love you loads dad, you are a fantastic dad and role model and am so proud of you. Remember every good day is a step in the right direction and every bad day is a good excuse for a !!!!! fest! Keep doing what you're doing and remember I'm always here for you, love you to bits xxxxx
From my sister to my father on FB. Neither of whom even noticed it was my birthday. My sister also joined the group a child is for life not just for benefits earlier on the same day.
Even my Mother who couldn't find her ar5e with both hands was able to remember my birthday and send a text (1: don't ask 2: rarely happens).
Don't know why I let them get me down but each year, it does.

Morning ladies!!!!!!!I finished up the lavender bath teabags tonight
Ooh, they sound lovely trudi, what are they??lostinrates wrote: »OMG, with out noticing it was coming to an end I have finished my Estee Lauder Night repair eye cream. Its done very well being used almost every night and morning since christmas, and DH sometimes uses it at weekends too
wiba? Absolutely. I can see a difference certainly.
I have no spare. BUT I feel really commited to the challenge, I do have a balmy Itlaian one I adore but it is too heavy for the summer months. I also have a Clincque one I gave to DH because it makes my eyes swell so much. I don't think I can face it
so, do I stickwith something I know works for me...or play the field and look at a cheaper option? Anyone know when the next estee lauder offers will be?
Yes, replace it if it works and you can afford it, no point wasting money on something that's not as good!! :TDo you read Martin's email cover to cover?

Yes, I do read it cover to cover, and did notice the BS offer, but sadly it doesn't include NI grr grr.

:grouphug :KAZ I know where you are coming from, families are so thoughtless and it makes me so angry.
Last August it was my 25th wedding anniversary and because hubby did not want a party it went unnoticed by my whole family. I didn't expect much but some cards would have been nice.
No use ups today, off to work now have a good day everyone.0 -
Well ladies I found a Tony & Guy leave in conditioner in my stash and when I opened it I only had one application left so another use up to report. WIBA yes i think i remember that i liked this - must have left the bottle there to remind me to buy another one of these!
but won't be buying any until everything else is used up
I've managed to offload a BS lip balm pot (strawberry) that i didn't like (found it drying) so that's one gone from my collection. I much prefer the lip butters now, butters for everything!
I've given the St Ives Collagen Elastin moisturiser to my sister as found that as well as I didn't like it, it also left white 'flakes' on my skin after i'd rubbed it in. Soo back to using another moisturiser in my stash - Johnson's Dreamy Skin - i love this as it's so relaxing and it doesn't contain lavender (gives me bad headaches and makes me really ill when I smell it - strange!). I think it's the only product on the market that claims to do the same as lavender that doesn't contain it IYSWIM, it's moonflower instead
Have a good day x0 -
Kaz, i hope they didn't do this intentionally, just makes the saying "You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family" seem so true
But think of this one instead "Good friends are the sisters God forgot to give us", and try not to let them get you down0 -
Aw that's a shame debidoodle. I had a birthday card from a woman at school whom I barely know and yet get no acknowledgement from my own family. Gah!
Really late night last night so I'm a bit tired today. I'm looking forward to having a nice relaxing bath tonight and then off to bed nice and early. I have more difficulty adjusting night to day each year. One of my colleagues was telling me about some new research which shows that shift workers on average lose 2 hours sleep per night. The early risers are generally waking up through the night worrying that they won't wake up in time for work.
Interesting stuff. I think it would be easier if you weren't forced into a rotating shift pattern so you could chose to do earlies, lates or nights but the bosses don't like that.
Right, better shift my lardy bum and have a quick tidy upstairs before I go and get DD from school for the dentist.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
