I would have stayed up for the midnight launch in the past, as you say would have ebayed what I did not want. I cannot remember the last time I purchased from QVC it must be at least over 6 months ago.

Well done debidoodle, that is great progress!!!!! :T

Used up a perfume this morning, another 46 to go

Wow lynseydee, 46! That's some stash. If you use one a month that's about 4 years worth. Have you thought about ebaying any of them, the ones you're not so keen on? :money: Or could any of them be presents? Or that swop thing people on here have mentioned (brand alley??).
I have a couple of perfumes but face creams and eye creams are my real problem! Started using one of the eye creams on the backs of my hands as its not up to much. :)

    Used up:
a sachet of Neutrogena scrubby foaming face wash (cant remember exact name) - WIBA, no. Scrubby but a bit harsh for me.

Have you tried sweet almond oil (on its own) for the OCM? It is great stuff.

I would kill my OH if he used any of my fancy toiletries!! :rotfl: Just as well he doesn't, I think he associates them with all things girlie lol.

Mine loves ''girlie stuff'' we have very, very similar hair and h finishes up lots of stuff I get bored with or don't like as he's less fussy. He'd never buy the ''fancy girly stuff'' but he LOVES using it. He had a facial once, I booked it for him an he adored it...we had gone to a spa. He loved the spa too, and always wants to go back there. He also ''gets'' the need for scented candles and nice bedlinen.

    Hi mineallmine

I have actually ebayed some of them but most of them I do like the smell of or were one off purchases and I'm terrible for hogging items to use for myself. I have decided though that if I do try a perfume and it doesn't quite suit me or I don't like the smell I'll try ebaying them then or give them to my sister.

And at least it means I won't have to buy any perfume for the next four years at least :)

I wish I had a sister who would give me perfume!!! :rotfl:

I'm off for a shower shortly and to slather myself in body butter (even though it is the icky hemp one, might be naughty and open a different one)...

Finished an old CK One edt (by liberally spraying bedroom and bed-linen with it). I know this is a very common fragrance these days, but I still like it. Won't buy again though as I prefer the M&S Autograph edt which is £12 for 100ml !!!

You do missy and that'll be two sets of lines you've earnt today! :naughty:

An item to declare here, but it wasn't bought. I got a mini tube of Olay Total Effects Touch of Foundation through the post from SuperSavvyMe, which I shall save for taking camping as I'm always looking for ways to pare our kit down. Next trip in a fortnight so I shall report back after that!

Other than that I'm still ploughing through the wretched S&G Big Butter - OH admitted the other day that he'll be glad when it's done as he hates the smell. Aww bless! I feel guilty now using it as it's so rare for him to say he doesn't like the smell of something I use. Other things in use at the moment which must be nearing the end of their lives are the Tresemme Shampoo, Maybelline define-a-Lash mascara and an everlasting Avon face mask.

culd you make time to use it in the morning so its under clothes and out of his way? MAybe use something different in the evening? I now if you don't normally body moisturise in the morning its a pain, but it might be a solution

Problem is, it's quite thick and takes ages to soak in. Putting jammies over the top of it is one thing but I don't really want to be putting regular clothes on too soon after applying it. The other thing is the time thing - I start work at 8am so try to keep morning routines to an absolute minimum! Thankfully he's got a stinking cold at the moment so I just need to try to get through it before he gets his sense of smell back I think - and I will definately not be buying again!
