Anybody using chicken pellets to deter cats?

They do work, you load the pellets into a catapult and Bobs your uncle... no more cats

Our neighbour's cat used to tuck in to pelleted chicken manure...:A0

I did read it on this forum and I did a search on google. Some people do use chicken pellets to deter cats with success. I will post if I have any luck with them besides you can use them as a fertilizer as well.0

Has anyone tried 'Silent Roar' (lion poo soaked pellets), or even nipped down to their local zoo for the real thing? It's supposed to work. I'd like to keep cats and their poo off my beds and away from my hens. And I like cats ...

Keep a nicely dug bit for the cat perhaps?

Yeah, but so satisfying to see a drenched moggie legging it over the wallNumerus non sum0 -
I won't use chicken pellets anymore. The smell is just horrible.
A tom cat used to avail himself of my lawn. Right in the middle of it. Then I noticed that other creatures were doing likewise and the Tom cat moved to another garden. The other creature was an urban female fox. She lives under my shed and I feel very honoured to have her to stay.0 -
I'm not sure what you will achieve using chicken pellets apart from a well fed lawn.
I have chickens in my back garden and yet on real wet rainy days the run stinks to high heaven if you stand too close. The girl's (hen's) have the leisure of running around the lawn area for a limited time (just to help fertilise and give them some much needed green foliage), however we still have one spot on our lawn where the local moggies just love to lay one.
So, I don't think it's gonna work.
I have used "Keep Off" crystal like liquids sparingly and never let my girl's near the lawn when doing so. But the moggies still do it no matter what I do.
Although I had heard of putting lemon juice near area's that cats have messed, and this is spose to stop them.
