best time to go is teatime early evening.......the young lads and girls seem to be on then, plus busy with everyone after work so less likely to care and check :-)0

I always find the weekends a good time too when the youngsters have had a night on the pop, struggled into work and are very much worse for wear !!!!
those were the days !!

Just left it in the end cos no-way would CS have accepted all my vouchers!
Will try again tomorrow.........
Yes, pick a young kid and you're pretty much home & dry. I too was faced with a row of po faced middle aged female checkout operators (I stood and looked right down the row of checkouts and it was not a pretty sight :rotfl: ) and sure enough had a couple of vouchers rejected - the same ones that went through the previous few times with young male operators. One young lad was coming up to his break and was about to be releived (if you know what I mean) so he obviously couldn't give a fig and just whacked them through :T :T

That's really good advice, they'll never want to get into an awkward discussion about vouchers with a hangover!!!
Excellent thinking, Welsh-Dragon.
My next Tesco visit is on Sunday, so lets hope they all had a stonking good Saturday night!!! :beer:0 -
Don't you just hate it when you choose a young lad and just as you are about to be served, a middle aged jobsworthy woman comes and takes over. There is nothing you can do as all your shopping is on the checkout!!!
I always keep trying to talk and have a conversation with her but they always reject some of the vouchers or just take one voucher for the whole shop.0 -

Haha too true! I also look for the ones without a uniform on, sometimes means they've not long started and have yet to get their uniform.
I love this thread, I've been thinking of stuff I can get just to use the vouchers. At this rate I won't have to buy any more toiletries until Christmas :rotfl:Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0
