    Interestingly, there now seems to be trend for male deodorant manufacturers to include silver ions in their sprays, as these kill off the smelly bacteria. These silver deodorants are in very high demand apparently.

    There are also bath spas and washing machines that use nanosilver.

    I wonder if he purchased scrap silver at the same price as new from non VAT registered suppliers.;)

    Even in ancient Egypt they knew about the antibacterial properties of silver.

    All through history Kings, Queens and Princes never got the plague so much because they used silver cutlery etc. A little gets in the blood stream and builds strong immune system.

    Thats where the tradition comes from to give baby silver spoon to fight infection.

    They also put silver in bandages to treat wounds. They never get it back (I hope not anyway) You dont want to catch anything from your silver;)
