    All - thank you for your suggestions/experiences. I turned out a lovely loaf this morning made with sunflower oil rather than butter. Really, it was lovely! Goodbye butter altogether from now on, as far as my breadmaking is concerned!!

    In my instruction book it says that 25g butter = 2 tablespoons oil.
