I found I could get 25% more work done when I had a sat nav. It's so eassssyyyy:D

Just pop in the postcode in a town you don't know and minutes later your there......superb

True to form: RE has posted assignments second day running where you can't enter a date to complete so therefore cannot accept the assignment. Absolute load of b****cks!

I was really against getting a Sat Nav. What a fool I was! :p

I now really rely on it for my mystery shopping. I can get to anywhere and not have to worry about getting directions and planning a route and then getting really lost. It really has made it easier for me to branch out and MS places I am not familiar with which has meant more work.

Well, there would be if there was any! :rotfl:

We've never had a Sat nav, never really thought we'd need it. But the very first App I purchased for my iPhone was "Co Pilot", it was £26.99 for the UK edition so FAR cheaper than a SatNav system, and it is brilliant!!

Has made my life so much easier.

Although, I tend to use it all the time now just for the novelty factor - home to school, school to Bluewater, LOL, and I like to go a different way to confuse it - it always gets me there in the end!!

Thoroughly recommend this App (and I won a £25 iTunes voucher on eBay for about £18 so got it even cheaper!!)

I don't use The Office, but a link I've got bookmarked is http://www.invisionplus.net/forums/index.php?mforum=mshoppertheoffi

Having said which, just tried it, and that link doesn't seem to be working, so it's either changed, or the problems they were having over the weekend are still persisting!!

I have steadfastly resisted getting a Sat Nav, but have second thoughts about it all the time. Mostly, I am worried that it will get me into a panic in the car becuase I have a dreadful sense of direction and also cannot tell right from left. :(

After many years of MSing, I have a vast range of town street maps, which I keep in the car, together with several folders of googlemap printouts. I now know all the towns within a 50 mile radius pretty well and seem to get by without clocking up too many unnecessary miles. I rarely end up having to go to places I haven't been to before, and I have all of my cross-country routes down to a T.

What does interest is me how good a Sat Nav is when there is an unexpected road closure: can you get it to give you the quickest/shortest alternative route without too much hassle? Can you, jediteacher, or anyone else, answer this?;)
