I have five to do within walking distance of each other on Wednesday - hoping if I can get out early enough I'll have them done in time for a lunchtime pizza job ;)

Chef how did you get on with your Helion jobs?

Hey, they were really straightfoward - but some of the queues were a bit mental cause it was bank holiday Monday!

They really don't take very long to do, nice and straightfoward. Only thing I'd say is to make sure you go along with a random postcode for Scenario 1 - most of the coverage checkers in store need a postcode rather than the name of a village/town.

I second that about the postcode. When I did the first one with this scenario I realised that I looked really stupid not knowing the postcode of the place I was moving to in a couple of weeks :embarasse.

I have done 8 of them now and the longest I've spent in any of the shops is 10 minutes. I would happily do another 80 of these rather that a lot of the others we slave away at for a pittance.

    Agreed!

My GF is in, but I think I'd rather have chocolate and wine......

    :-)

Oh My God, I've just read that - serious testosterone injection required, feel like I should go watch Match of the Day or summat.........
What you need is a little of this......

'This is my rifle. There are many like it but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my rifle is useless. Without my rifle I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy, who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my rifle and myself are defenders of my country, we are the masters of my enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.'

    Testosterone Restored. Amen ;)

Hi clippy :hello: (want another egg? - actually scrap that they're all mine, I bought a lovely dress today but its a little too big as no 10's left so need to fill in to it!)

I have managed to self allocate :D
I clicked on the Apply button, wrote the usual bumph about why I was suitable and then clicked OK. I then got a blank web page with a small box in the top left hand corner which said something like 'You have self allocated ??????? (job info)'
I then went back, refreshed and job was in my inbox.

Whats the betting the jobs appear on ESA when I'm out tomorrow?!

no need for an egg today thanks, treated myself to a mini tube of mini eggs :D i have been swimming and gym everyday since fri so i deserve some 'real' chocolate rather than virtual! :)

thanks for that, will see what comes up tomorrow :)

Tell me about it. I went to do a burger job that I had booked for today, only to log on and discover that they'd changed the date to Thurday and not bothered telling me. Ruddy good job I did log on too since I'd already printed off the job notes so could have completed it without checking.

That's not the only nasty game Gyp are up to lately. You follow the instructions to pay by debit card so that you are not clocked as a mystery shopper and you automatically get a receipt. Then Gyp email to say that are not going to pay you because you paid by debit card and didn't get a cash receipt. I told the !!!!!!!s I am not going to do any more jobs for them unless I am paid and cancelled all the jobs I had booked. Later, they phoned to ask me to do an urgent job - one of those I cancelled! Naturally I told them where to go.

These people are cheating scumbags and, as someone has already said, they should not be included in the list of mystery shopping companies. They have absolutely no respect for mystery shoppers. They make the micky taking RE look like a company with integrity. I am sure there will be people who say they give them no trouble, but given time, most of us will have a problem. What they hate the most is mystery shoppers who do a good job and report things like filthy toilets, long waiting times etc. If they don't sack you for it, it will only be because they have a shortage of shoppers in your area. Also, I am sure that there are those superior types who think the problem is always with the mystery shopper in response to a post like this. Well, you should be aware that some posts come from the mystery shopping companies pretending to be a mystery shopper and others degrade themselves by accepting payment from the company to attempt to discredit anyone who criticises them.

    Morning All

Today is a good day to be in Northern Ireland....(and possibly scotland if memory serves me right) as today is also a Bank Holiday :p

I have quite a busy week stacked up today (between me and DH) we have 3 corner shops, a petrol and 3 crisp jobs, tomorrow I have 5 phone jobs, pizza dine in, a crisp job and 4 jewellery audits, then Thursday I have the last of my crisp jobs and a food for react. Friday so far is a stamp shop and a supermarket I've also got a few applications pending here and there and so hopefully might get some of those.

Also going to ring retail active this morning and see if I can pick up the pharmacy job that needed doing by yesterday as I'm over that way today.

I shall also hopefully get some of the thousands of jobs that will be released today.....:rotfl:

    What have you got planned?
