I am going mad.

I bought Microsoft Office in January, after 3 month free trial ended on my laptop. For some reason, it gave me another 3 months trial, so being lazy, I didn't bother setting up the new one.

Anyway, can I find it? NO I BL00DY CAN'T!!

Trial has expired, can't amend any documents, don't want to download Open Office as that would be like admitting defeat.

I also need some black ink for my printer, and my electrical MS is not till Wednesday.

Perhaps I will just eat a bit more chocolate to take my mind off it.

Try opening a random Excel file and see what happens?

Or search your laptop for "Excel.exe" and see what it throws up.

If all else fails, chocolate is always a fantastic alternative! :-)

There are times when questions need asking and answers are needed urgently and the best place to ask is a large and busy forum which is where MSE is very useful, I find other forums very quiet at the weekends so would have come on here regardless. :beer:
I do lurk on here a lot, looking for that bit of distraction to avoid the boring data entry !!

Coud somebody tell me how I invoice retail active please. I must be really thick as I can't even find the invoice, let alone find out when to send it .

Gyp are cheeky b@stards - gave me jobs the other day and one of them was allocated on a day I couldn't do - emailed them and they said this was the only day in the two week window it could be done.....they have just emailed me to say they have taken back the jobs allocated at the same time as these were an incentive :eek: see if I hadn't been able to pick them all back up for hubby to do I'd have been really p!ssed :rotfl:

Tell me about it. I went to do a burger job that I had booked for today, only to log on and discover that they'd changed the date to Thurday and not bothered telling me. Ruddy good job I did log on too since I'd already printed off the job notes so could have completed it without checking. :mad:

You just draw up a Word document with your costs on and email it to them.
