I did an egg shop today that no longer requires eggs :j
We still haven't eaten the last lot! I wouldn't say no to a nice choc Easter egg :)

I gave most of mine away, not really a big egg eater and knew they'd just end up going bad...

I'd love to do some more egg shops - nice simple brief, decent fee, quick report... Just wish the rotation was shorter I think I've done every egg shop within 100 miles now which limits my choices a bit for the next wave :(

Wonder if I could find a cluster and have an egg shop holiday somewhere and tie it in with a hotel visit :rotfl:
  • Don't you just love the briefs on these... I did one tonight, there was about three customers in the venue (and three staff). Asked for a receipt for my drink and just thought this is definitely one of those jobs where you should have a t-shirt that says "Mystery Shopper" on it.

Tempted to get one printed and wear it next time I do normal shopping and see if I get any reaction!!!

    Morning

Busy day for me considering I've been taking it easy lately....just hope I can stand the pace!

    2 homeware stores,
    1 curvy store
    2 underground sandwich shops
    1 crisp job
    1 pet shop
.......and possibly another one or more of the 11 crisp jobs I still have to do depending on time available/stamina left!

Hope everyone has a busy day/nice break << delete as appropriate!

    J :D

Is anyone else finding that assignments seems to be getting bigger for less money.
I was sent one today for a supermarket and the following is required:

Making simple enquiries assessing the service you receive in 9 different areas/sections of the store
Assessing the queues at the Main checkouts Making a purchase of your choice at a Main checkout (Not a Self Service checkout, Basket Only checkout or clothing counter). You can spend as much as you like but must spend a minimum of £1.00 (we will reimburse £1.00 for this purchase) Making an alcohol purchase at a Self Service checkout. You can spend as much as you like but must purchase alcohol and spend a minimum of £2.00 (we will reimburse £2.00 for this purchase) Making a purchase at the cafe in the store. We will reimburse up to £1.00 for this purchase)
Hate to think how long the feedback sheet will take on that one
Yes! I've got one of these to do tomorrow and think I will need to take a "shopping list" in with me to remember all of the points. I think I will use my time in the cafe to reread what I'm supposed to do!
I only agreed to this assignment as it's a store I've had extremely poor service with on numerous occasions so we'll see what happens tomorrow...:D

I've often joked about doing that too as in situations like that it's so obvious! But in my opinion I think it should ensure you get a good service and in some places you can amuse yourself by watching the floor show :rotfl:

Poor show from Helion..... I applied for 30 visits last Saturday/Sunday, all within a 30 mile radius of where I live, as I am off work today, Sat, Sun and Mon.

So far none of them have been assigned, I've PM'd Max and so far no reply. Have the Scottish visits been neglected or are they the ones "kept in reserve" as the website suggests?

So I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs when I could be out earning some money.

Not a great start from a company that promised to treat its shoppers as "real people".

Have you tried ringing him? he was out of the office for near two days and a post said he had lots of emails to read - a call might help. Worth a try anyway?
