It's decided. I'm going for the "All Bells and Whistles" Blackberry Bold 9700. I have read all the reviews and this appears to be the best one for email, which is really the most important thing to me. I need to open attachments etc. Not just for MSing but for other work I do.
No, I'm not loaded and shelling out a fortune every month for a phone, I'm just lucky in that it will go on my husband's business contract (which I work for part-time) so I wont have to pay anything.:D
If I had to pay for it myself I would definitely go for the Nokia E63 for £10.00 per month from O2. It looks a really great phone and a fabulous deal. The phone gets really good reviews too. Looks just like a Blackberry.0 -
YAY I have a 9700
i tested the 62 and 63-- hated them.
But the 9700 i found no one does email etc like BB thats what they are there for!
Its a great phone0 -
Shirt and pants... like dress shirt most of the guys wear ties
Thanks, I was just thinking along the lines of if I was genuinely doing the test I'd be in jeans and a t-shirtdon't see the point of being uncomfortable in stressful situations like exams.
Plus its a lot easier to conceal things in jeans... Those of you that have done these will know what I mean :rotfl:
Must get some washing done quickly, was expecting jeans and a t-shirt to suffice until I re-read the brief0 -

I do find that blackberrys are definitely a "work" phone, the iPhone is more for play with a bit of work....which is more like what I do hehe.0 -

I find I stand out like a sore thumb on these, partly becuase of the procedures and partly becuase of the dress code. The staff seem to treat people differently according to the type of test they are taking: I have been asked about my other qualifications, training institutions, working placements, etc. (as general conversation), whereas candidates for other tests are booked-in pretty quickly with no "engagement." Since we are expected to look professional, I wear a jacket - it hides the pockets in my trousers!;)0 -

2. They take exactly 11 minutes to complete and 54 minutes to fill in the report. This does not include your travel time.
3. You cannot choose where to mystery shop. If they allocate a shop 40 miles away you have to do it, otherwise you will be taken off their list of shoppers.
4. You can only do one every 6 weeks.
5. There is no weekend mystery shopping work available.
