is anyone else doing the gfk price audit thingy again tomorrow? they havent allocated the jobs/lists yet, in an email this morning they said it would be tonight...just wanted to check if others had their lists or not:D

I got an email this afternoon, basically saying if you receive this email, check your account as you've been allocated another job/s. I got 2 for tomorrow and they're in my GFK account already.

Hi there, I have recently joined up with ABAi, and according to the front page, they currently have about 11 clients? However, on the link provided, I can only find about 5. Can someone PM the client list, or links to it, or somewhere I can add the rest of them please?

Also, if someone could PM me the name of the company that 'should not be named', that have the crisps jobs? Just to make sure that I am registered with them?! Many thanks

    Sally:)

Also, can anyone help.. I have been registered on RE now for two weeks, and still it is showing as my probationary period, and despite checking it a 100 times a day, there are never any jobs available for me in order to get out of that?? :(

Spent all day looking at flipping mobiles. Problem is i only pay £20 a month simplicity on o2 and never a penny more but to get a new flash smart phone i'm looking at 40-50 quid a month (i'll admit i'm tight and don't wanna spend that much)

    I have found
    LG GW520

Anyone got one? payg and i can get a sim card with 300 mins, free o2 to o2 calls, unlimited texts and unlimited data for 22.50 (phone is 90). any advice?
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

Sally - if you go back to post 3663 on this thread, there is an explanation for ABAi. Regarding RE, try widening your geographical area and make sure all the boxes are ticked for available types of jobs on the top of the search results page.

I am tight as well :rotfl:usually spend maximum of £15 on my mobile and thats a lot ..:) listening to the talk of iphone and BB - they seem to cost a small fortune - maybe when the price comes down:rotfl::eek:

but back to question - sorry not sure about that phone - it scares me the amount of money some spend on phones - must be old :rotfl:

well my basic point of view was i call i text. thats it, and therfor pick the phone that has a pretty colour. I know want the push email as i miss a lot of jobs but it's not like i'm out and about all day. from 8-5 i'm sat at work in front of the computer so don't need to rely that heavily on it. just needs to be a filler.

i have never spent more than £100 on a phone. and they both lasted over 2 years

Just wondered how many of you do video visits - is it worth considering? Is there a lot of call for it with the companies?

I'm not planning to do it right now, just seeing if there is demand for the future.

    Many thanks.

I've been doing video for about five years - it's the only way I can make a full time income from mystery shopping. You need to invest in the covert kit, but personally I think it's worth it as video jobs commend much higher fees. Also, there are relatively few video shoppers and so we don't have to use "fastest finger first" and fight for the jobs as soon as they are released. I tend to get booked up two or three weeks in advance and there's always more work on offer than I can do in a month. The handful of companies I work for always seem to struggle to get all the video jobs allocated. Having said that though, video's not for everyone. The shopper can feel under scrutiny just as much as the MOS since everything you say and do is captured on film, and I know quite a few shoppers that have given up doing video for that very reason. The plus side is that no-one can argue with your timings or try and discredit your report!
If it weren't for mystery shopping I would never have discovered the joy of launch control.
  • Just read a brief and am still laughing at it...

Please do not use staff names in the report if you are making a negative comment, you are encouraged to use staff names only when there is positive feedback.

Still not quite sure what the point of that is, so if the staff do a good job they'll tell them so but if its crap they won't bother? :rotfl:
