Thanks will give that a go :)

I'm feeling really nervous about this one, really shouldn't do but I think it feels too much like really going for an exam :rotfl:

Whats the likelyhood of having the concealed item noticed while you're doing the exam? just wondering if I'll get thrown out and branded a cheater lol. Was looking forward to proving the "you will probably fail" comment in the brief wrong!! :D

If they are on the ball you will get rumbled before you go in.You can then enjoy the test (WHICH I PASSED) to the full.It is a wierd experience but I have to say I thought the set up was quite impressive.
BTW if you get there early they may be able to fit you in ahead of your slot.

Last time, I didn't have chance to get out my concealed item. I was ejected before answering a single question because I took my glasses off to read the computer screen. Easy, huh??:rotfl:

Some of the clever clogs on here have passed, so we MSers are obviously not all the dumb lot that we are supposed to be!:)

    1. You get £4.00 per mystery shop. In all instances you have to pay for your own transport / mileage.

    2. They take exactly 11 minutes to complete and 54 minutes to fill in the report. This does not include your travel time.

    3. You cannot choose where to mystery shop. If they allocate a shop 40 miles away you have to do it, otherwise you will be taken off their list of shoppers.

    4. You can only do one every 6 weeks.

    5. There is no weekend mystery shopping work available.

    Good luck.

    Thanks.

That doesn't sound as good as I thought though. The bus to my local town centre is £3.60-so I would make like 40p

Have you considered envelope stuffing ? No details of that on page 1 of this thread but you might find some other answers there.

You think that's bad, to do over 20 miles I would have to take a ferry at minimum of £112 each way.

    1. How much do you get per mystery shop?
    2. How long does a mystery job take?
    3. What freedom of location is there for mystery shoppers?
    4. How frequent can you do it?
5 How flexible is it finiding ones which you can do on weekends?

    1. Varies wildly depending on company and/or work involved
    2. Varies wildly depending on the scenario
    3. Varies depending on what is in your area and how far you can travel
    4. Varies depending on client requirements
    5. Varies depending on client requirements

    Hope that helps :D

Busy busy day today but got loads done. Have done three stores siting trays in fridges, three stores siting trays on the dental fixture, a contact lens assessment and a petrol station and competitor.

Just recovering now with the choccy from the petrol station and some freshly brewed strong coffee from a job I did the other day :D
Here I go again on my own....

Done the Tern glasses job and the cat job now. Today's been a bit of a write off as 1 of the cars wouldn't start so me and DH have had to share the van. I've spent a lot of time hanging around whilst he drools in the Apple store (he had to drop off his laptop) and he's had to hang around whilst I did my MSing. At least I did get a lovely lunch at John Lewis :j - mind you, I told him I was NOT going to have a MaccyDs so he knew from the start he had to cough up for some proper food ;).

I've managed to pick up 4 jobs for June so far; got a job next week and then it's half term the following week so wouldn't be able to do anything anyhow. I have to keep reminding myself not to be impatient - I only started this on 23rd April and have done some work and gained experience.

Good news is I will be getting my iPhone before 6 tomorrow :T

  • It's decided. I'm going for the "All Bells and Whistles" Blackberry Bold 9700. I have read all the reviews and this appears to be the best one for email, which is really the most important thing to me. I need to open attachments etc. Not just for MSing but for other work I do....

    YAY I have a 9700

i tested the 62 and 63-- hated them.

But the 9700 i found no one does email etc like BB thats what they are there for!

    Its a great phone :)

:T The 9700 BB is a great little phone and the push email is fab :D. Got mine in April on the Orange network. Only problem I've experienced is in the last 3 days any headset I use with it doesn't work properly and the sound is very low. Not sure what the problem is, but hoping it'll correct itself . Anyhoo, enjoy your purchase :D.
