I've got an iPhone, it has made my MS-ing so much easier.

I've downloaded a FREE app called Simplenote (there is a note app that comes on the iPhone but this one is better) and then register here: http://simplenoteapp.com/ . Never again do you have to print briefing notes or questionnaires, copy & paste them online and it automatically synchs them to your phone. Then, when you're out, enter your results on your phone and it synchs them back to your computer so when you're doing your report you can cut & paste the comments you made.

Soooo much easier (and cheaper) than printing things out, filling them in by hand, and then having to type them up at home.

And, heaven forbid, if you lose your phone, everything is saved on the PC anyway!
Does it alert you when you have an email? Or do you have to log into your email account to see if there's an alert on the alert thread? I want a phone that beeps to tell me that an alert has been posted.

from what i have read you want 'push email' i think. thats what i want. my iphone and blackberry both have it from what i can tell.

i'm useless at phones, which makes finding one for m/shopping tricky
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!
  • Make sure you check your Helion payment overview - mine is missing 50% of the jobs I did in April. Spoke to Max who says that if that is the case you should fill out the form that is linked at the bottom of the helion email detailing what's missing and it'll be looked into. He says that they're going to have to re-look at the payrun anyway because there seem to be other jobs not showing on payment overviews.

Can anyone who works for Service science give me a rough idea of when they pay? I completed a few jobs for them at the beginning of April so i'm presuming it will be sometime around the end of this month but wasn't sure of which date.

Yes it does, my iPhone beeps almost instantly when an alert is posted.

I've been shopping for Tern for a while but there hasn't been a job within 50 miles of me for about 4 months! So I've decided to start looking around at the other companies.

Now working through the list on the first page to sign up for as many as possible. The joys of living in Plymouth is we're a bit limited shop wise. Lol

They allegedly pay 4 weeks after they receive your invoice. Though they do tend to lag at times.
