NOOOOOOOOOOO Don't order an iphone today!!!!!!!!!!

The new version of the phone should be announced on 22nd June so either hold out for that one, or wait to see if they reduce the prices on the older models again.

    http://gizmodo.com/5520164/this-is-apples-next-iphone

Thanks Lil_Me but it is too late - I ordered it at 9.00. I'm getting it free on a contract so am very glad I didn't spend £350 getting one on a PAYG!

DH is first in the queue for a new one; he loves all the new Apple technology and I normally get the old one once a newer one has come out!

Selina1987, many congratulations - may it be the first of many!

I've got an iPhone, it has made my MS-ing so much easier.

I've downloaded a FREE app called Simplenote (there is a note app that comes on the iPhone but this one is better) and then register here: http://simplenoteapp.com/ . Never again do you have to print briefing notes or questionnaires, copy & paste them online and it automatically synchs them to your phone. Then, when you're out, enter your results on your phone and it synchs them back to your computer so when you're doing your report you can cut & paste the comments you made.

Soooo much easier (and cheaper) than printing things out, filling them in by hand, and then having to type them up at home.

And, heaven forbid, if you lose your phone, everything is saved on the PC anyway!

I'm having a really bad day. Got tenants in my property today. Thought finally after 6 months of it being empty. Signed the contracts and everything.
So went to do my mystery shop for Gap, to find the place closed and this was only day it would let me pick to reschedule! Really annoyed!

But then, my tenant rang us and said that him and his girlfriend had just broken up and that he doesn't need the house on his own. I had two tenants lined up and now I have none. I can't believe it. I just can't afford to keep it going anymore. Not that now I have to pay for the council tax aswell, which I get nothing for! Not happy at all. I feel like crying. This year has been a total disaster.

Can you not rent out your property through the local council? My local council has a scheme where you pay them £40 a month and they will find you a tenant (usually a council tenant on a waiting list), sort out the rent, do any repairs/maintenance free in the house - which covers boilers, heating and damage, cover legal expenses such tenant doing a runner, damaging property and they monitor anti social behaviour. They will also evict the tenant or serve them notice if you want them to. Hassle free.

My partner rents out his property this way and has had no hassle for over 3 years with the same good tenant.

    I agree I love my iPhone :D

I even sometimes use the voice recorder to record the staff and see what they say. Also I can get accurate results that way. I have spreadsheets, stopwatches, diaries and alsorts on mine. My camera is fantastic. I can email things straightaway so I have a backup copy.

I even have a sat nav on mine :rotfl:just incase I get lost en route!

Thanks TG, I'll look for that when I'm next on wifi! Sounds very good!! I usually end up going through the questionnaire, translating it onto my notes and then typing up after so this will save time.

Passed the credit check so it should be with me by 1.00 tomorrow :j:j!

Does anyone know when the BARE jobs get loaded on? There's only about 6 on there so far so has to be soon *stamps feet impatiently*

Got all excited as saw another car job with TNS - typical as it's the same place I did last week. Also not a great fee - have to do 2 separate visits so even if I did it I wouldn't earn much. Note to self: ignore TNS car jobs!!! Oh dear, waffling again .... best go and do some housework :(

see i've been looking at phone but must admit. to get the iphone i have to double if not treble how much i pay monthly to get it free, which puts me off. I quite like the look of the vivaz pro but isn't out till july.

Only m/shopping between full time work so never have to many reports. just need the email alerts, stopwatch, photo's etc
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

This is it - sorry, not techy to do a proper link: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2307997

You can subscribe to it so each time a new job comes in on the alerts you'll get an email.
