I got the same email. I thought the pay was pretty poor actually for what you have to do. Also the results need to be entered by 2pm on the same day, so unless you've got mobile internet you can't really get much else done, and for the fee they're offering I would need to combine it with at least 1 other job to make it worthwhile.

Yeah, agreed the fee is not great - but I suppose if it's a regular thing you'd get it done quite quickly after the first one or two. I've not seen any work like this with GfK before so I'd have been tempted to take it and hope more became available. But stores and times no good for me anyway!

Can anyone help me understand how GAP allocate jobs? I've been with them for a few years but don't often do anything for them. I applied for a burger job yesterday (for today) and it was rejected, but it's still sitting there waiting for someone to take it (to be completed in the next few minutes :rotfl:). I did re-certify a few weeks ago so that's not an issue.

My waistline is grateful as I did 2 coffee & cake jobs this morning, I just thought that as I was walking past the burger shop a couple of times, I might as well do it.

Have you done the same burger place recently? You can't shop the same site twice in a row (so someone else has to have done it in between). Did you have another job booked for the same time slot? Other than that and the certification issue, I thought it was just a case of fastest finger first. Maybe someone else just pipped you to the post?

The gap system will sometimes show jobs that can't be completed for one reason or another. For example, the system will not allow two visits (by different shoppers) at the same site within a certain time frame. If for example someone was scheduled to do a breakfast visit tomorrow, it would not let you have the lunchtime visit for today. Gap, in their usual style, do not weed out the jobs that the system will not allow to be allocated! The rejection you mention doesn't sound like as if it is aimed personally at you!:)

Not be MSing for long (6 weeks) and just had a query on one of my RE reports - it was a pharmacy one and it sounds like they are doubting what was said - i.e. what questions they asked me.
Have replied to the e mail but I'm scared I'm going to be "sacked" - is this common?
    Any help greatly appreciated!

I had a similar sort of query raised in one of the previous waves: it seemed that the SA disputed what was actually said during our interaction. RE didn't ever get back to me after I responded to them. I was paid for the job (and they didn't deduct any points for queries), so I assume that they didn't have any issues with my accuracy of reporting.

I don't know how common these sorts of queries are, but I personally would not worry.

    Thanks! Appreciate the reassurance :)

I have had a few queries with RE when they are wanting things clarified and have not been sacked (yet :D). I just reply either confirming what I said originally was correct or adding more info if I think that is what they were after.

Mind you I had to take a deap breath before replying to the query I got today telling me to "please answer the question" and then quoting the question and my answer. As I felt my answer had "answered the question" I just re-worded it and sent it again so who knows if that is me on the way out or not.
