Tern are one of the good guys - I have never had any problems with them and they give a fair fee. Yes, they mark your performance strictly but that is how it should be. I think it is fair to say that anyone behaves like this without a valid excuse doesn't deserve to get any more assignments.
As far as I can gather, they are getting rid of anyone who steps an inch out of line, sacking them completely.
To be fair, it does sound somewhat harsh, but then again think about how harsh it is for a trainee and an examiner to be in the same place at once (which takes some organising as it is!) for the test patient to then not turn up. The examiner I spoke to today sounded generally peed off about the whole thing, very nice gentleman though who appreciated that I turned up.
He was quite surprised that I lived 36 miles away though, he thought that there were loads of us all local. Yeh right lol :beer:0 -
Talking about Gap, I noticed one of their clients was fined after a cockroach was found eating a chip in one of the busiest branches in Britain (according to MSN). I was sacked for reporting a filthy toilet at one of their other burger company's restaurant. I just wonder how much Gap's clients encourage Gap to silence mystery shoppers who tell the truth0

tern are very good, just wish they had 100x times more clients and no 6 month rule
i would be very happy then.
managed to pick up a re clothes job (not one of the new ones i saw). disappointed to see the reim is £5 less than it was last time. for some reason it paid more than the other clothes ones, maybe it was a released job last time:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -

I can honestly say that Gap arent told to keep quiet.
I used to work for an old client, still a burger joint but the ones who do the Whopper. Gap were always completely honest. If we got 30%, it was reported to us all in the restaurant as 30%, and we got a telling off.
But, if we got anything between 92-100%, we got praise and whichever branch got the best score in the county would get a treat - like money to put in the staff night out kitty. That was some years ago though, I doubt things would have changed much though.
Jobs were at risk too. If you were named on the MS report and it was a bad report, that was it. Kiss goodbye to your job.0 -

I think the same of Precision....... very good company to work for, nice fees + travel allowances and an easy Excel spreadsheet to fill in.
Just a shame they only seem to have one client in this area, and they have a limit to how many times you can shop it.
Angel13 knows what I'm talking about. By the way Angel, was an amazing job! Really enjoyed the presentation/demo in the little cinema area! I left the store wanting to buy everything lol0 -

. I received the email from them in the morning after a heavy night out and sent back a not very nice reply
. They sacked me within 30 minutes :rotfl:. Ah well I could be done without the burgers as I've a bikini to get into before August.

Just goes to show how deceptive this forum was, I thought you were in your twenties the way you talk! But I've been quite shocked by quite a few people recently, I think it was Glamazon who I also thought was really young but who has a kid that is older than I imagined. And then there's Debthater and his gender crisis!
Very confusing.0 -
I know what you mean, you get a mental picture of people and what they are like, and when they say something you're not expecting it blows your perception of them away!!!
Decided I'm obsessed on clicking for updates on my email so am going to try to limit myself to once every half hour maximum. Hmmmm, could be tricky!
Got 3 jobs tomorrow including test driving a car so feeling a bit nervous, but sure it will be OK when it comes to it.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0
