I believe Northern.... I was even considering it. They were paying for the petrol + the flights and would have even paid for an overnight hotel stay in a cheapie B&B if it was needed..... shows how desperate they are to please the client, but it also shows how much Tern must be getting if they can up their fees to that level.

2 in the midlands and the Irish one, the Irish one they were paying for the return flights and travel costs and everything! Madness
I was seriously considering the Irish ones but decided in the end it was not worth it for the extra time I was hanging around and I was guaranteed to go for a "wander" round the shops between the appointments and before the flight home and that would mean spending money (I did consider asking them if they would give me a shopping allowance :rotfl: )0 -
Looks like I'm going to be getting the GAP SACK email any day now....burger took over 5 minutes in drive thru queue and I have received an email wanting me to answer the timing questions again.
They have even provided me with a description of me and my car. Glad I went by myself and followed the assignment to the letter. Can't see what discrepancy they'll find but I'm sure the active imagination of the burger manager will be able to congure up some dirty big fat rotten lie!
I really need to lose 3 stone before August so I'll look at this as a blessing in disguise.0 -

I am never sure why I was sacked from this client but I think it might have been my response to the client identifying me and giving a very detailed description of me, exactly what clothes I was wearing, bag I was carrying etc, however they said I had a fringe, but my hair is all one length so I pointed out in my reply that this was wrong. They annoying thing was I was not sure why they queried anything, I got the floor show and all the timings were great so the report was fine.

Thanks for that, just gave me the motivation to complete the test shop - I'd been putting if off for ages!
You'll enjoy doing them!
The fee is great for what you actually have to do. You just sit there and say nothing pretty much..... and no report either! I havent done a lot of MS work this month because I have had alot of my time taken up with these audits, I wont tell you how much the Tern cheque was for that came today, and the one next month is even bigger :j0 -

Someone (cant remember who it was) posted recently about giving an MS co the sack..... I couldnt see the point in it because its just cutting your nose off and all that
BUT
With Gap, I took an exception. Emailed them and told them to delete me from their records. I havent had much from them recently, and all that I used to have was the burger jobs, where the reimbersement is about 30p less than the actual spend required. Not to mention the lengthy reports, and the fact that they accused me of being a woman in a flowery dress....
Never again :T0 -
I like gap. I like their reports, I've found the customer service side to be much better recently. They now answer emails fairly quickly.
For what it's worth the burger people are required to identify the shopper if they want to query a report. When I met them they joked about painting a height chart on the door so they know how tall we are.
Also I've had a few reports where they've questioned the timings, each of them have never come back to me again nor have they refused to pay me. I haven't been sacked yet, but then again I used to do a couple of last minute burgers/chicken for them and I'm now turning them down as I'm on a diet. 5.5 lbs down, 36.5 lb to go!0 -

I got an email from them describing my car and it said I was a woman in late 40's  I'm only 32. I received the email from them in the morning after a heavy night out and sent back a not very nice reply
. They sacked me within 30 minutes :rotfl:. Ah well I could be done without the burgers as I've a bikini to get into before August.

They broke the cardinal rule - never ever ever describe a woman as older than she actually is:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
Nice to see a few jobs on GFK/TNS that I havent done for ages....... got a busy Sunday booked this week which is quite rare!
Quite disappointed to hear that there have been a lot of people not turning up to the Tern contact lens/glasses assessments..... the examiner I spoke to today said he had been to that branch 3 times now trying to examine the trainee, the first 2 just didnt bother to show up.
Tern are one of the good guys - I have never had any problems with them and they give a fair fee. Yes, they mark your performance strictly but that is how it should be. I think it is fair to say that anyone behaves like this without a valid excuse doesn't deserve to get any more assignments.0
