Hi,
I've been MSing for a month or so. I'm registered with Gap and RE. I have a query about a burger visit and wondered if anyone could help. The assignment notes say you must not take children. However, the visit is one where I stay in the car. I have a 10 month old who will more than likely be asleep when I would carry out the visit. What is the reason for no children? SHe wouldn't be a distraction as she would be asleep. Has anyone else done this?

Morning all, haven`t posted on here for a while. Been very busy with day job and ms`ing....rapidly going off eggs! Even my daughter in law wouldn`t take any more off me yesterday!
I think I need plasters on the end of my fingertips with the amount of reports I have had to get back over the weekend.
Is my birthday today.....prob too old for some of the jobs now..lol..but I have got 9 assignments lined up for today so making hay while the sun shines.

Def DON`T take anyone...not even a child. They will pick up on any excuse to discredit a report. It is madness I know but they say they require your full attention! It would be more natural to have a child or someone with you, but I don`t think natural is what they are looking for.

Totally agree with Squeaky. Don't risk taking the baby with you. If there is one little thing in your report that they don't like, they will say that your baby was distracting you (even if she wasn't) and will refuse your report, get someone else to do a revisit and probably sack you from the burger jobs.

That's the way they work. Gap like to protect the client rather than the shopper and put more value on a good report than a truthful one.

I did all the orientation for 4 client specific areas, but only one comes up when I search for jobs. Do the others not have them very often?

They appear at various times during the month. Are you signed up to the alerts thread? Gap hold back the petrol jobs & corner shops for bribes on the burger joints....I got bribed on Sat...lol...You just need to keep checking. Sometimes you can pick up assignments that others have released. Use this company as filler jobs if you are in the area anyway!
