Oh, bother. Just did a burger job for Gap and completely forgot to get a receipt. And I was so chuffed with myself for remembering to do all the timings etc. - just so busy with that I forgot all about asking for a receipt!

They're not going to accept a report without a receipt at all, are they?
Can you re-schedule and re-shop it? If you can, that's what I would do and put it down to a lesson learnt. I wouldn't want to risk submitting a GAP report without a receipt. They are very quick on sacking people for minor offences.

Quick question - I have to do a survey of the ethical make up shop. Would lipstick count as make up - it has to be a product they can demonstrate - I know it says not mascara but would lippy count as they can demonstrate the colour.
Any advice please on what products are acceptable. I do not use foundation so would not want to buy that.
    thanks

I am not sure about lipstick - how about a blusher?

i would assume lipstick would be ok as they test that on the back of your hand so you could have a demo

they claim to have a three strikes rule with receipts but i submitted one without and they said i would not be paid. i would either reschedule or cancel it

Yeah, that's what I was thinking I'd have to do. Not impressed with myself, as this was a nice easy one I could do in my lunch hour, whereas the only time I can reschedule it to is Monday which will make it tight with collecting DS from nursery at lunchtime. Still, I guess I'd rather do that than lose the money altogether. :-(

The dog would eat the chickens.

We've got a Jack Russell (real little hunter) but she doesn't eat the chickens - in fact Betsy the hen scares the dog and Pip runs away from her :rotfl:!

By the way, I emailed GfK re the car test drives and they confirmed the car has to be 5 or younger. Then I got an email back about 30 mins ago saying the restriction has been lifted, so go for it so I did! Guess what I'm doing next Tuesday :T Thought I'd tell you lot in case any of you want to do one too.

I've got 2 chickens in our very small back garden. Pip our Jack Russell x Patterdale is terrified of them as they head butt her with added peck. The puppy also gives them a wide berth...

Never hurts to ask, the omlet forum is a great place to get chook info.

Tern have some very easy jobs if you wear glasses or contact lenses. They're worth signing up to for those.

My favourite company to work for, good if you encounter problems as they answer the phone and are understanding, plus nice sensible guidelines and good surveys.

Do you mean what an open audit is?

    if so...

You'll have an authorisation letter to print out saying that "XX Audit company" is working on behalf of "the widget company" and they are requested to allow you to count how many widgets that "Big Stores Ltd" have in stock (or similar assignment).

You'll then have to go to the store give the relevant manager the letter, sign in and do the job.
