Unfortunately it happens far too often - I was a school governor and involved in interviewing for new teachers - the head always appointed friends of friends or a daughter of a friend - it was easy for her to come up with some reason and a couple of governors resigned over this and she still does it now - dreadful practice and a shame for the other candidates who would give it their all and have no chance - even local authority would not get involved since difficult to prove:(

Can anyone recommend a bank that doesn't do ex-pat banking that I can use for a scenario?

Oh, bother. Just did a burger job for Gap and completely forgot to get a receipt. And I was so chuffed with myself for remembering to do all the timings etc. - just so busy with that I forgot all about asking for a receipt!

They're not going to accept a report without a receipt at all, are they?

it must be firefox then as thats what i use - moved from mac to windows and i am not getting rid of firefox as well as everything else i am used to! partner has hidden the mac battery so i have to get used to using this thing ive had to get it for uni as they didnt bother telling me but the software i needed to use doesnt work on our old mac :mad:

im not having a good week as still scanning paperwork from last year and clearing out spare room into a proper office for uni work. we were vacuum packing clothes all over bank hol. ive got a mountain of more clothes to wash and check if they fit - so 4 bags to charity and 6 vacumm packed so far :o i just wish they would fit me as i dont have enough money for new ones :( anyhow partner brought a bug home from work so i am feeling really lousy. just been out to vote :T and get supplies for tea. ive got a hardware and supermarket visit tomorrow to get better for. then really busy weekend. going to bluewater for cinema, book, lunch, jewel, languages and retail and then on sunday all over the place for 2 catalogues, 1 shoes and 2 supermarkets. i will be glad when its monday to recover and get on with uni work :eek:

has anyone who cannt self assign got some egg jobs finally? I am now able to see some after all these weeks of waiting but nearest is about 40 miles away and not somewhere i can cover im hoping if you are not allowed to shop them every month that next month my local ones will still be available when the self assign frenzy have had their fill and we get to see the left over jobs.

If the egg jobs are supermarket ones then yes I can see some, none in my area (of course)! Besides I wouldn't want eggs as we've got 4 chickens and regularly get 3 eggs each day .

lucky you Id love to have some chickens. We have quite a big back garden so plenty of space for some but we rent the house (been here 4 years) and had enough problems getting someone to rent to me with a dog that I dont know what would happen if you have chickens too

Quick question - I have to do a survey of the ethical make up shop. Would lipstick count as make up - it has to be a product they can demonstrate - I know it says not mascara but would lippy count as they can demonstrate the colour.
Any advice please on what products are acceptable. I do not use foundation so would not want to buy that.
