Hi, I did 4 jobs for Helion of which three were telephone ones.I had problems with the files and I wrote different emails to Max and other staff at Helion.Only Max answered twice and he told me I would only get paid for two as the system was not working and did not let me put through the other two telephone ones as it said there were two answers missing but there weren't.I am still waiting for an answer from Max but after a week and a half have not heard anything more.Quite disappointed.:(

Alarm bells are beginning to ring more loudly, but most mystery shoppers appear almost totally deaf!

Well they do have a phone number, and advertise it, and answer it when you ring. If it was important and no one responded after a few hours why didn't you just ring them?

It's the initials of the person who proof read your report.

Nope, no alarm bells ringing here. Why would someone go to the effort of setting up an entire mystery shopping company only to get one month's worth of work out people before it was discovered they were fake? Not really logical. Why would Ernst Aben, a pretty well respected figure within the industry have joined if it were some fake scam outfit. I'm used to waiting for payment (some of you seem to have unrealistic expectations of payment speed) and I'm confident it'll come through.

I think you will find they had their 'first' payment run this month, despite claiming, since around August 2009, that they operate in 90+ countries worldwide. Then there was the instance of Helion Research 'stealing' the BARE mystery shoppers list. Maybe not enough to convince you (or me) that they are 'fake' but certainly enough to suggest 'scam'.

I assume the company has been in existence since August and therefore was notionally "operational" - that's the sort of BS all companies wheel out. Obviously this has been an ongoing project - setting up contracts, a website (that more or less works) and so on doesn't happen overnight. A lot of work appears to have gone into how the thing works. I was very sceptical about the bare claims that the list was stolen - sounded more like sour grapes and an attempt to persuade people not to sign up. If I remember correctly that email also said to stick with bare because they had several big new projects coming up - which appeared not to have materialised. While there are things about Helion that irritate the hell out of me, assuming the money turns up eventually I'll be happy. There many times better than other companies and basically they're not gapbuster. How anyone works for those australian crooks is beyond me. You appear not to have addressed my point that Ernst Aben is involved in Helion...
