There's no credit check because it is an upgrade of your existing account, it's not a video job and there's no outlay, so I'm not sure what there is to lose. I'm doing one!

We're obviously not looking at the same job then. The one I'm looking at says you need to covertly record the visit using provided equipment and also be prepared to have a credit check. It says you need to check your credit score before applying.

Now it may be the case that it's just an audio recording, and there won't be a credit check. However the loss would be if something messes up with the recording AND they do a credit check. Not easy to then re-do and still get paid.

Same job here - don't have a problem with recording or with a credit check since all clear and meet all criteria except I don't have a current account with the relevent banks ... so I couldn't upgrade which is the scenario that needs to be followed

Hi for all the regulars I have just posted an alert for a shop with a huge fee

very strict criteria applies - I can't do one since not with the banks in question:(:(

but hopefully some of the regulars on here are and can grab them - really worth it for the fee:j
How can you say its worth it when you have to have a credit check done. Def not worth the fee.

See I could do it, but I have a huge overdraft on my current account that is interest free until August and I really don't want to risk losing that if something goes wrong (plus I'm not sure they would recommend me upgrading!). Also I have a mortgage application in at the moment so wouldn't want to jeopardise that.

I can say with experience that the bank that begins with H.... when you upgrade to their £5 a month reward account, a credit check is not done as you already have the main bank account with them and you are simply adding a service onto your existing account.

I cant speak for the other 2 banks though. I suppose TNS would have to put that line in there, just in case they did do a credit search on you for whatever reason whilst upgrading. And, it is just a search footprint that is left if they were to do one. I know for some people this may be a problem (i.e if you already have applied or plan to apply for credit/mortgage), but for the vast majority a search footprint on your file isnt really that much of a big deal.

GR were doing similar jobs but for £40 less than the fee being offered by TNS, but with the GR jobs you had to open up a brand new account, which would have definitely left a mark on your credit file.

Heads up if you like the 3* Hotel jobs that appear on RE.

The next wave is "in the wings" and is for a COUPLES visit for Fri or Sat, the first date being 7th May.
I don't know exactly when they'll be released (should be very soon )and only thos people with business emails will see them (or not, as it is RE's IT we're talking about:D)

Typically (stingy) RE will not increase the expenses for the food/drinks but I have found that quite a lot of these hotels will reverse the WHOLE bill, even if it is over the actual expense limit.

There are some posh ones of these (4*) in Leeds, Cambridge and a few airports.
The questionnaire is still 147 q's long, but it has impoved, so not as many inane answers required.

They have added an extra comment though :It's when you upload the receipt, you have to fill out the comment box!

    Enjoy.

It's only an UPGRADE of your current account. It has benefits like phone and travel insurance, AA cover and things like that and costs about £5 a month, but you cancel it the day after your visit so it's never activated anyway!

    Go for it!
Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.
