I got an email saying:
Thank you for mystery shopping with GYP.
Following best business practice, our clients require us to continually provide a broad range of shoppers to complete their evaluations; therefore, we periodically review our shopper database. This is a great way to ensure GYP consistently delivers quality results to our clients.
As a result of this practice we often remove shoppers from our system, and in this instance, you will not be required to complete any further assignments for GYP. Any jobs assigned to you which have not yet been submitted have been cancelled from your account - please do not complete the assignment(s).
Unfortunately, you will not be able to re-register with us. This decision is final and can not be challenged.
We sincerely thank you for your continued efforts to improve the shopping experience for all customers.
We hope your GYP shopping experience has been enjoyable.
Best regards,
Shopper Team0 -
Something about that email wasnt right, it should have read more like this:Following best business practice, our clients require us to continually not pay the correct amounts; we also have terrible fees, mainly due to the fact we like to make the largest possible profit margin possible. This is a great way to ensure GYP consistently delivers quality results to our clients. We also pride ourselves in having a completely terrible website system.
As a result of this practice we often remove shoppers from our system, without warning, regardless of whether you deserve it. You will not be required to complete any further assignments for GYP. Any jobs assigned to you which have not yet been submitted have been cancelled from your account - please do not complete the assignment(s).
Unfortunately, you will not be able to re-register with us. This decision is final and can not be challenged.
Please do not email us about this issue, as our reply will only be rude and arrogant.
Please do not telephone us about this issue, as that is deemed to be a sackable offence. Oh wait.........
We know your GYP shopping experience has not been enjoyable, and we dont care.
Best regards,
Shopper Team
Sod 'em. You dont need them. I havent had a lot of work from them recently, I dont do the burger jobs anymore because of the rubbish I get from Gap. The stamp jobs I have upcoming are the first jobs in 6 months I have done for them.
Stick with the likes of GR, Tern, GFK, etc. They are the good guys0 -
Quick newbie question re. the Gap stamp jobs please! Will they mind if I take my four year old DS along? It doesn't mention being alone/not taking kids on the brief or questionnaire.
But if I can take him along, I can do a run of them around my area. If I can't, I'll just settle for popping out quickly to the nearest one while DH is at home.I'm broke, not poor. Poor sounds permanent, broke can be fixed. (Thoroughly Modern Millie)

I wouldn't if I was you. They will use any reason not to use your report. Having said that, I did loads when my DS was a baby and no one ever came back to me but I am pretty sure you are not supposed to! They also removed me from the stamp shops so maybe that was why!:D0
