I can't decide whether they haven't released the jobs for little local me or they have been had already. I do quite like grassroots where you can see what has been taken.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

:jFinally got some jobs thanks to the egg ones. I completely missed out last time as was not self-allocate and even though I applied for about 30 I got none! I've got 6 this time. I was really beginning to doubt I would get anything this month but looking at my dairy things are starting to look up. Probably jinxed it all now.

Looks like ESA are buying me my Sat Nav!

Got 7 self allocated then 3 to Applications.
(It states 10 can self-allocate, but I'm not complaining !)

    I don't do this normally but ..... :T

    Well done Tudorc1,
I also managed to pickup5 & I'm well delighted as they are all on the bus route for me,so its a case of jumping on & off the bus all day along that route.
Could have picked up more like yourself, but happy with my lot :):)

My flight to Ibiza was cancelled,& had to pay admin fee to change dates of hotel for re-booked flight. Esa monies will go towards this :T:T
On last wave of egg jobs I only managed to get 1 job.

I've managed to finally self allocate some ESA egg jobs - can somebody please tell me if the 'spend' comes out of the fee or if there is a separate re-imbursement? The full brief isn't available yet and this is the first time I've got any of these.

    It's a separate reimbursement :).

Can't see anything less than 25 miles away from me... in fact I've never seen any of the really local ones and there are quite a few. Hopefully they will appear on the next wave as I can't do the dates for this batch anyway (I can only do local ones Mon-Wed & Fri because of my day job, and have other plans for the Thurs & Sat that week). Typical... I could have done loads of them last weekend & this Thurs!!!

You should be ok next time. You can only visit the egg stores on rotation every six months.. which is :( for me since I did lots of them on the last run and cannot do any of the shops I covered again.... so few available to me this time:(

I see they are covert then overt this time - I am glad I can't do these in a way ;) since the overt means difficult to ever visit again since they will know who you are.... at least with covert only - after 6 months back again and no-one remembers you!!:j

All the ones I have picked up are covert only so I guess there may be different scenarios.

my son is the same and he is 16 so i usually end up seriously yelling at him:o! I used to work downstairs and then him and the dog drove me insane constantly fussing around me so i moved back up to the spare bedroom and I still have them fussing. im next to sons room now so at the moment i have his guitar playing in guitar hero and his laptop alerting him to facebook/games/emails. how i manage to be on a laptop and not make any noise he finds unbelievable :rotfl:

My son is 15 and it took me three times longer to write a report tonight since constantly asking questions regarding homework - I did state do what you can and I will help with any areas he became stuck with - seems he was stuck with most of it  The teacher for that particular subject is a "read the book and get on with it type" and doesn't take questions:eek: so leaves it to them to find out - helps them research a little but mainly means the parents end up explaining the subject - something not quite correct there - I like to help but not actually explain what the teacher should go over first....:(
