    AAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Just doing a website job which I'd scheduled for today with GR - halfway through my order and the website is down for maintenance til 4am :mad::mad:

I've just spent 15 minutes adding stuff to my basket after writing my shopping list!

Is there likely to be anyone at GR at this time if I tried to ring them?
Maybe tomorrow morning.l I've once rung them on a Saturday morning because the bank I was suppose to visit was closed - didn't know until I got there. They answered the phone on Sat morning but I wouldn't worry - they are really helpful on the phone, afterall it's not your fault, just explain yourself, there wont be a problem.

I think its really poor that you aren't asked in the scenario to look for anything else but I made a real effort to comment on the interior, my waiting time, the staff and the information I was given. What more could I put! Maybe I wrote too much but it was only about 6 sentences.

Really what it demonstrates is that the people who are proof-reading and editing reports at Helion have no clue what the client's expectations are and when in doubt resort to criticism (it's what I'd do). Hopefully some better communication within the company should fix it.

Then again, it's nothing that new. I've had pretty surreal email exchanges and phone calls with Bare editors in the past where it was clear they had screws loose. So fingers crossed Helion fixes it :)

All done for the weekend thankgoodness. I have been feeling more and more ill over the last few days, don't think I could have coped if I had anything booked in for the weekend.

All reports done, now to decide whether to keep the jeans from the curvy lady store. Started back at slimming world last week, so don't want to have lotsof clothes that won't fit me forl ong, but they are nice, much better than the supermarket ones I usually get. Lost 8 and a half lbs this week, but that dosent really fit in with the pizza job I did today, lol.
You can send me the jeans when you're finished with them! :D

Correct. I too wrote about queue lenth, store exterior and interior and customer service. The report brief didn't even ask for this information and I had FB saying extra value comments 64%...........eh?

If I had put the real comment that i was told in many it would have read - 14 day cancellation policy for whatever reason - full stop :)

I've got my first 2 jobs with Helion tomorrow - I was quite looking forward to them as they seemed straighforward, but after catching up with the thread I'm a little concerned.

I guess all I can do without any guidelines is fill in what I think and hope for the best.:(

Any tips from anyone who got good scores? Is the concensus that longer comments are better?

It's so much easier when they tell you how many characters they want you to fill and are a little bit more specific about the info they require. It's all a bit vague TBH.

Arrrggghhhhhh!!!!! :mad:car trouble slowed me up today and I didn't get a fraction of what I wanted to get done!!!!

I am very tempted just to take a day off tomorrow, I've not been feeling so good today and the jobs I have got are fairly flexible (ie can be done Sunday or Monday).

Going to double check and run it past DH and get his thoughts on it. I've been getting better slowly don't want to set my self back.

blah blah moan moan blah ...thats me done :D thank you for listening :D

Oh dear, how can I help. I had some scored 100% and the majority 92%. I wrote exactly the same amount of text in each report and included the same type of information.

I'm sorry I can't help further but as one poster has rightly surmised - If the editor doesn't know good grammar then they may be cautious and mark down.

Just write as many relevant comments as possible without rambling and you might be lucky.....that seems to be how it's graded, hit and miss and luck.

I must say though, Max has promised to look into this so it's unfair for us and I mean me here also - to keep criticizing until he's had chance to look into it. It's okay to moan though I guess :rotfl:
