Ebay seller my-elink...BEWARE

Please be aware of this seller on ebay, they trade in replacement power adaptors for laptop etc.Their adverts say 24hr despatch by first class post(1-3 day delivery)...I ordered one on 19thMarch had email saying it had been despatched on 20th.By end of last week it hadnt arrived.I contacted them told me to wait 5 days,by Saturday it still hadnt arrived.Contacted them again and was told to wait till next weekend.Ive just checked their feedback and today 30+ customers have left negative feedback in last two days all saying the same their goods havnt been received. Please avoid this customer if anyone is looking for this sort of stuff.
They say they are based in UK but emails are replied to at 3am each morning so I have my doubts.

I think theres a royal mail back log of parcels in certain areas at the moment.

Ive had 2 parcels sent to me 1st class on the 10th March and ive only recieved them today.

Thats just typical of royal mail though....

PS Im not siding with the person im just sharing my recent ebay experience.

It does seem that there may be a postal issue at this time, however apart from that it really annoys when a seller like that has 400+ negatives in a month but because of the 58285 feedback in total ebay will turn a blind eye due to the fees they are making.

Could be a postal problem.Have to say though I don't like the responses they make to negative feedback. It's full of 'sorry.will give feedback to post office will improve' , 'apologize.will report to supplier' and 'sorry.will improve transportation'

so is it their transportation or the 'post office'?

Wish I'd done a bit more research on these people, as I now have 2 useless and dangerous replaement chargers bought from them, as do several other people. They originally offered to refund my money if I changed my negative feedback! Now they are just replying with silly e-mails. E-bay are being no help. Should I contact trading standards, as at least two people have reported serious overheating problems with this firm's products?

I suggest you post details in the Ebay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales Board. The folk there are pretty clued up about how to deal with EBay.

At a guess, this is where their UK warehouse is based, and where Trading standards might want to contact them if they are selling unsafe and non EU approved electrical goods.
