Yes and I've heard about those parties in the States.....the ones that involve floor cushions and hand mirror. Don't worry mookiepook.........we'll have none of that 'Getting to know one's Mary' malarky going on in Glasgow.
Spoons - suggest we check BigMummaF's handbag for a hand mirror on the night and confiscate if one is found. Just to be safe.0 -
Have been a very good girl and managed yesterday and today as NSD's making it 6 - I do like nice even numbers!

Evening all!
I've not posted for a while because my internet connection has been down (first intermittently, but annoyingly frequent, then permanently). Anyway, hopefully it is fixed now.
Progress on my NSDs has been not as good as I'd hoped, but managed one on Good Friday and another the following day, so I'm thankful to report 2 NSDs. I'm hoping for another tomorrow too, fingers crossed.
Hello to all the regulars, and the newbies. :T I hope everyone is well, and hugs to anyone who needs one!0 -
Oh my goodness........it has taken me twice as long as usual to read through to here. Well, I did need to have a very close look at various men in kilts, pick myself up after swooning and then look again!!!!!!!!!
I almost forgot what the thread is about!
Anyway, Wednesday was a spend daybut not alot (thankfully), Thursday was a NSD
so that makes 5 nsd's.
Today has been another Nsd. Hooray. 6 NSD's
I did do a bit of shopping, but that was from my weekly budget.
Offer of the week....Sainsburys were selling packs of 4 really nice hi-ball glasses and also packs of 4 tumblers for 24p a pack. I had to check several times to makes sure I had read the sign right, i had and got several packs! Not all are for us though and I have been paid back by a few grateful people!
Take care all

What have you lot done to me?
Went down high street with all intentions of spending money today as had a list of things to buy. Couldn't find what I needed, went past all the clothes & charity shops and only spent £3 on cakes for me, DS1 & DS2. (I treated them as we had to walk there and back - 25 mins each way)
Got some money out of the bank to last me all next week and bought weekly shopping tonight. I really have changed the way I spend money. No plans to spend over the weekend sofor next week.
I feel good - der der der der der der der,
I knew that I would - der der der der der der der.:rotfl:
Curlygirl - But we could use BigMumma's mirror for looking under those kilts....Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!
