Hi everyone. OMG all that stuff about the night out and the "tuppence stuff" made me laugh. I'm a Liverpool lass and I thought it odd when BigMumma was talking about seeing her tuppance again! xx

Yes and I've heard about those parties in the States.....the ones that involve floor cushions and hand mirror. Don't worry mookiepook.........we'll have none of that 'Getting to know one's Mary' malarky going on in Glasgow.

Spoons - suggest we check BigMummaF's handbag for a hand mirror on the night and confiscate if one is found. Just to be safe.

  • Evening all!

I've not posted for a while because my internet connection has been down (first intermittently, but annoyingly frequent, then permanently). Anyway, hopefully it is fixed now.

Progress on my NSDs has been not as good as I'd hoped, but managed one on Good Friday and another the following day, so I'm thankful to report 2 NSDs. I'm hoping for another tomorrow too, fingers crossed.

Hello to all the regulars, and the newbies. :T I hope everyone is well, and hugs to anyone who needs one!
  • Oh my goodness........it has taken me twice as long as usual to read through to here. Well, I did need to have a very close look at various men in kilts, pick myself up after swooning and then look again!!!!!!!!! :):):)
I almost forgot what the thread is about!
Anyway, Wednesday was a spend day :( but not alot (thankfully), Thursday was a NSD :) so that makes 5 nsd's.
Today has been another Nsd. Hooray. 6 NSD's :)
I did do a bit of shopping, but that was from my weekly budget.
Offer of the week....Sainsburys were selling packs of 4 really nice hi-ball glasses and also packs of 4 tumblers for 24p a pack. I had to check several times to makes sure I had read the sign right, i had and got several packs! Not all are for us though and I have been paid back by a few grateful people!
    Take care all

What have you lot done to me? speechless-smiley-008.gifparty-smiley-004.gifheadscratcher.gifHSjester.gifbitenails.gifHSlostmind.gif

Went down high street with all intentions of spending money today as had a list of things to buy. Couldn't find what I needed, went past all the clothes & charity shops and only spent £3 on cakes for me, DS1 & DS2. (I treated them as we had to walk there and back - 25 mins each way)

Got some money out of the bank to last me all next week and bought weekly shopping tonight. I really have changed the way I spend money. No plans to spend over the weekend so crossfingers.gif for next week.

I feel good - der der der der der der der,
I knew that I would - der der der der der der der.:rotfl:

Curlygirl - But we could use BigMumma's mirror for looking under those kilts....
Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

I got some of the highball ones S-i-d, they're great. Tesco also do some quite good tumblers in their value range for around the same price - got some of those a couple of months ago - 4 packs actually which will last me some considerable time:rotfl:. They're still in stock curlygirl, might be worth a look:D
I know I shouldn't be encouraging you to spend:o..... but they are a really good bargain (only, and I repeat, ONLY, if you really need them:D)
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)

  • OK...... spent a fortune in Tesco..... lots of bargains and whoopsies so hopefully I won't have to spend too much during the rest of the month..

    then...
I went to M&S and got some bedding I needed (not too bad so far)...

    then.....
I bought birthday presents for nephew and niece

    then...
I went to buy some bird seed for my birds

    then...
I had to get bloomin' petrol:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    then...
I had to buy cartridges for my printer - Cartridge World don't stock the ones for my printer and it's too damn new for the cut-price places so I have to buy them direct and full price from the bloomin' manufacturer:mad::mad::mad:

    I want to cry:(:(:(:(:(

but feel better for confessing all:) but am I going to be allowed back on here again now:(

Least yo did it all in one day Spoon...should have got yourself a little something too!

Number 2 for me today. Thank goodness!

It's about mutual support and encouragement (well, that's what I think it's about) and if that involves posting pictures of gorgeous (and some not so gorgeous) hunky (and some not so hunky) men in kilts, well that's fine by me:D:D:D:D:D
And that's without even mentioning the off-topic conversations going on, but that's all part and parcel of the thread:jand the growing community of wonderful NSDers on here:A

PS: I'm not normally that "mushy" but I have had two glasses of wine and I do honestly think you lovely people are great..

Right.....off to update the totals now - normal head back on again:D
