Hello lovely NSDers
Update no 2 for today as you've all been so busy. Love the piccies:j:j:j:j:j
Welcome back to:
The Dragon: oops, think I meant to add you earlier, I’m really sorry:o:o:o........ All signed up again now for 15 and well done for the 4 already got.:j Look forward to more updates!:)
Well done to the following for new NSDs:
slowlyfading: well done for another one - no 7 -:j keeping my fingers crossed seems to work for you!!! NSW is great..:)
fedupandskint: you’re going great now, well done for no 3:j
cw18: don’t think you’ve reported your 2 to date, so you’re getting a well done for them now, even though you don’t think you’re doing brilliantly. As curlygirl said, you’ve got some great bargains there and some real moneysaving being done, so that’s probably more important than actually getting an NSD. So well done on the 2 NSDs :jand well done on the bargains!:j
curlygirl: well done for no 5,:j even though you are avoiding paying for your prescription!Hope your palpitations have stopped...:):)
niccatw: well done for no 1 - yay, go you!!!!!! :j That’s it now, we have to [STRIKE]nag[/STRIKE]/drag you along with the rest of us now!!
3Dogs: Yay - no 6 - well done you!!!:j Good luck with shopping tomorrow and I hope you don’t return in the same mood as I was in this morning:mad:
Baileys Babe: well done for no 6:j - you’re motoring now
And hello to everyone else:
karmchilovething: posting ebay things is a difficult one - a lot of people don’t include the postage as the buyer is paying - would that work for you? Good luck with getting another one tomorrow:)
Keiss 21: of course you MUST come along to Glasgow - wouldn’t be the same without you - and, yes, this thread is a lot of fun this month, loving the "slightly" surreal conversations going on.:) Your poor lad and his rugby mates would be put off for life if we shared a coach with them.:rotfl:.... Glad your evening at work went OK and you’re settling back into it again.:)
rachelmk: well done for resisting the bottle of wine and crisps :j- that made it a relatively low spend day. Spend at vets for poorly dog is definitely an essential and, if he’s insured, you’ll get the money back anyway at some stage, so I reckon you could let that go.
Off to update the front page again.
Well done everyone and thanks for all the brilliant posts today, this thread is definitely a lot of fun - and a lot of other people seem to think so too from the amount of views we're getting...... or maybe they're just amazed at the amount of carp we spout....

OK Spoon spill the bean's,what have you treated yourself to? Honest we've all gone to bed,it's safe to come + tell us......PLEASE![I am nosey]
Hi boultdj - do you think it's safe to confess now - are you sure you won't tell anyone else?? I haven't treated myself to anything, unfortunately, that's what makes it worse:(:(:(:(
OK...... spent a fortune in Tesco..... lots of bargains and whoopsies so hopefully I won't have to spend too much during the rest of the month..
then...
I went to M&S and got some bedding I needed (not too bad so far)...
then.....
I bought birthday presents for nephew and niece
then...
I went to buy some bird seed for my birds
then...
I had to get bloomin' petrol:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
then...
I had to buy cartridges for my printer - Cartridge World don't stock the ones for my printer and it's too damn new for the cut-price places so I have to buy them direct and full price from the bloomin' manufacturer:mad::mad::mad:
I want to cry:(:(:(:(:(
but feel better for confessing all:) but am I going to be allowed back on here again now:(The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Day off work today (im 9hrs ahead of you guys) and the NSD method is well & truely out of the window.
Just had visit to Dentist (how much?? *shaky voice as TWS reluctantly hands over the card to pay*
....followed by kind of essential but rather self indulgant hair do later (dont think even the free coffees will sweeten the spend....do I really need highlights!?)
All up, spent more money in one day than I generally like to do in a fortnight. But....onwards and upwards. Tomorrow is a new day, right??
*goes to ogle at the men in kilts again* :cool:0 -
Crept up to NSD number 6 yesterday ... however, tomorrow the motorbike will need filling up - not so great timing considering that petrol prices have just reached a record all time high!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:
DFW Nerd #1256, WSC £?/£? for w/c 03/03/2013, NSD ?/19 for 03/2013, Long Hauler #196

Woohoo yesterday was another NSD, as was the day before..:T That brings it up to 4 so far... Unfortunately tomorrow won't be a NSD day as I am off to a Flylady meet in Chichester. Oh wait if DH lends me the money does that actually count as a NSD as it isn't technically my money..lolMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

What do you have Chris? I fell in love with a bee-you-tee-full Kawaski 990 back in the day...still remember the exact shade of green; verging on citrus but still not completely lime...haaaaaaaaaaaaaa:o Have to say that I do prefer an engine to SOUND like an engine as opposed to a sewing machine & positively drool when I hear an old school Triumph for instance, or a Chevvie block in a 4-wheeled vee-hickle. There is something just so magical about the gentle heartbeat of a Harley ticking over at the lights, before that glorious roar when the throttle opens. Oooh! I've gone all goose-pimply now :T
Enjoy your day out Natty; I've been there a few times & the charity shops are amazing & can hold real designer-label bargains if you happen to be of a human size, as opposed to monsterously mammoth like me
Food shop for me today, which I do include for the purpose of this Challenge but that is my choice. It is helping me recognise where my money goes, so I'll keep it that way for now but my confession won't be very exciting I promise you--how can you big up a box of fish fingers & bag of mushy peas

Oh my word, I'm overwhelmed at the sight of so many men in kilts at this time in the morning!   Havent seen so many nice legs in ages - thanks ladies!
Yesterdays NSD was spoilt by the lure of the whoopsies in the co-op - only had to get electric (an essential in my head so doesnt count!) but couldn't resist 2 packs of nice beef mince at 50p each. Today wont be one either, having a day out with my friend - we're riding the horses to a nice pub in the next village for lunch and a couple of pints, cant wait! Horseriding and cider - my two favourite things combined!
Hope you've all got the Friday Feeling!! If we're lucky the weather will stay like this all weekendxx
Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -
Good luck today everyone, its friday! :j
I'm hoping for number 8 today, but will confirm that laterBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Oh my, it's 10am already and look at the number of posts. Haven't got time to read at the mo as off down the high street to spend, spend, spend
No NSD for me today.
Will indulge myself tonight with a cup of tea and a biccie (and look [STRIKE]one[/STRIKE] a few more times at those pictures (no not Rab C Nesbit).
Tried to find the 'tuppence' quote from yesterday/day before(?) but can't see it. It reminded me of when I set up my photo album on freecycle. I called it 'Lady's Bits'. Wasn't until I wrote my post and asked viewers to look at 'my Lady's Bits photos' that I realised what I'd done:eek: What a mistaka to maka:rotfl:Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!
