Ok, just caught up, read back to front and was getting highly excited about the night out in Glasgow til I realised it was a virtual night out! Guess no hangover I suppose! Can highly recommend the lifting of kilts :D

Yay it worked!!! In & out of the post office £2 something spent on postage & enough time to grab a cuppa (free in the office) before back to work!!!! :D

Aargh  to the fact that i've got home & found 2 books have sold on Greenmetropolis tho, that means another spend day tomorrow.... same plan me thinks cos at least then i know nothing unnecessary will come out of my purse!!

Out for a drink with a friend tonight  will try not to spend tooo much but very necessary as i've not seen her for 6 weeks & miss her loads. To be fair, i could easily spend the drinks money on unnecessary rubbish in the supermarket, so don't feel too bad about spending... & it is sunny beer garden weather!!!

Well done everyone who got a NSD, i'm definitely aiming for at least one of the weekend days to be a NSD... fingers crossed!!

NSD No 7 for me today :j. In between decluttering (not seeing the benefits of that just yet - still got loads of stuff to go through!) and working I have not had a chance to spend any money so that's brill. I'm trying to hold out until the weekend but I think I may need to buy some petrol tomorrow. Sounds like everybody is really getting on with not spending unnecessarily. I think April is going to be a great month for all of us NSDers!! :T

At last, I'm on track for my 1st NSD of the month! No plans for leaving the flat again tonight, so here's hoping the Betterware guy doesn't turn up with my order! Must work on being more organised!

If it's getting too crowded at Pure Dead Dopey's place, there's plenty of room for overspill at mine :D Oh, and I'll pass on the deep fried mars bar but I am rather partial to a deep fried pizza :o

And I found these guys wandering about lost. I have captured them for us :D

Hi everyone - delighted to announce my second NSD of the month - woohoo! Won't manage one tomorrow though cos I'm meeting an old friend for lunch in town - though hopefully will only spend on lunch and not be tempted by the shops! That's so funny about your night out - I thought it was an actual one you were planning! Bye for now xx

Where's one of those woop-woop rrrrrrrowwllll smilies when you want one  Can I have the one on the far right as you look at the photo--the guy leaning on his sword? Have him wrapped & left by the wonky post box next to the little book shop near the kebabbery will you!

    Hi everyone
    Oooh, newbies joining up today.....

thrifty fifty: :wave:hi, of course you can join in.... welcome to the NSD madhouse. I’ll sign you up for 10 now, look foward to seeing your progress... Oooh, update... well done for no 1:j
jet77: :wave:hi and of course you can join in too - we are slightly mad on here though, so sense of humour required...... Signing you up for 10 and well done for no 1 already:j
Swinstie73: :wave:welcome back, sorry it took you so long to find us. Signing you up for 12 and well done for 2 already.:j (I did however notice the “f” word in your post - we don’t use that word on here, luckily BigMumma doesn’t seem to have spotted it so far...) Are you coming along to the virtual night out in Glasgow?:)

Well done to the following for new NSDs:
positivelypurple: :jwell done for 4 NSDs - you’re nearly half way there! It’s weird that sometimes that you can get focused to do something and it all works... good luck for the rest of the month:)
chris81418: :jwow, you’re doing well... no 5!! Keep going!
teenyweenyspender: :janother one on no 5 - well done!
jintyb: :jwell done for no 4...... arrgh to the power cable:(
Keiss 21: :jdoing brilliantly there - no 4. Hope the sowing and sewing went well and fingers crossed for your evening shift, hope new system behaves itself today:(
BigMumma: oh it’s lovely to read your brilliant posts again - we’ve soooo missed you.:):) And well done for no 3:j
willbedebtfree: you’re doing brilliantly for a first attempt... well done for no 5. :j Look forward to lots more updates and NSDs:)
elfen: :jwell done for no 6 and hope you feel better very soon:)
Lollypop 75: :jwell done for no 4 and fingers crossed for lots more very soon
kezlou: :jwell done for your 3 so far... but oh dear to the car, hope it’s not too expensive. :(
boultdj: :jdoing well there on 6.... Sounds as though you’ve been busy today, I feel quite tired just reading your post.:o
LadyfromVenice: :jwell done for no 4 - love your comment about footballers:rotfl:... No power struggles on here, don’t worry, this is BigMumma’s thread, I’m just caretaking;)
karenccs67: oh no.... hope daughter is OK? :( Well done for the comparatively low spend at McDs. Thanks for the update today and well done for no 4 today :j- good tactics with ds, they have to learn mum isn’t a money tree
micron: :jYay... well done for no 7... I still have loads of decluttering that needs doing when you’ve finished - you seem to have got the hang of it now!;) I also think April’s going to be a great month for all the NSDers:)
BlimusOreilly: :jwell done for no 5 - doing great there. Look forward to lots more updates
mookiepook: :jwoohoo for no 2, well done.... Hope you enjoy your lunch tomorrow. We’re all a bit mad on here - slightly surreal conversations going on most of the time - you’ll get used to us, and you can join in with our night out if you’d like to - you’re very welcome..:)

    And hello to everyone else:
anonymoose: that’s definitely a low spend day by my reckoning. Hope you’ve had a good day:)
Changingme: thanks for the update, more NSDs will be coming along very soon, I can feel it in my bones..... Hope you’re pleased with the haircut?:)
slowlyfading: keeping my fingers crossed for you again - it worked yesterday:)
gettingthereslowly: fingers crossed for you as well:)
pure dead dopey: LSD not bad at all..... Good idea about getting the round sorted out before hitting the bar - saves arguments as well...... Oooh, rugby-playing escorts.......:):)
butdoineeedit?: well done for today, but arrrggggh to having to spend on postage again tomorrow:eek:..... have you thought about setting some money aside at the beginning of the week for postage and taking any that you need during the week from that? Might help you with your NSDs?
nicca: keeping my fingers crossed your betterware order doesn’t turn up and you get your first NSD.... :) Thanks for the offer of accommodation and love the kilts.... think I might have run into the odd one or two of them during some of my nights out:o:o

I've had a mega-spend day today, far too embarrassed to share the details at the moment with everyone else doing so well... will be back later to spill the beans when you've all gone to bed and I can confess on my own:o:o:o

Well done everyone and thanks for all the posts today:A
