Unfortunately will be having a spend day today as am getting my hair cut but as tomorrow no where will be open I will definitely be having a NSD so hopefully this will balance it out:p I've budgeted for hair cut as well so technically can afford it as all my debts have been paid this month so the money that is left in my bank account is mine all mine (insert film baddie laugh) mwahhh mwahh mwahh!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

OH is making his world famous (well in our house anyway!) chicken curry with spinach and corriander, can't wait as it is lush:j And the evening will be rounded off by joining in the search for Dorothy with Lord Andrew of Webber! My guilty pleasure for a Saturday night:o
Hi Sparkly Princess, hope you're pleased with the haircut?. Like the sound of the curry, but not keen on the Dorothy thing. My guilty pleasure for Saturday night is Doctor Who:o (not sure about the new guy though). Am recording it and will watch later.
Spoon, the first page is looking great with the totals. Thanks for all your efforts :T
Hi teenyweenyspender, ooh, thanks, that's really lovely of you:)

:jWoohoo no 3 for me today.:D OH went shopping instead of me.
Hi boultdj, wow 3 already, that's brilliant:j:j. Did OH "volunteer" to go shopping? Mine is getting quite good at "volunteering" if I don't want to ruin my NSD:rotfl:

Today had been going really well - I did the weekly shop but that doesn't count (does it?) and spent nothing else at all - until about half an hour ago when OH and I decided that we "needed" a Pizza Hut delivery - at least we're paying half each..........
No plans for tomorrow as yet so hopefully it'll be a NSD - fingers crossed.
Have a good evening - we're scoffing pizza and watching rubbish telly to recover from a joint hangover.
Hi rachelmk, oh dear to a ruined NSD, but sometimes only a pizza will cure a hangover:). Re the weekly shop - it's really up to you what you class as an NSD. I don't take into account DDs and SOs, but I do count anytime I use a debit card or cash as a spend, so I would include the weekly shop. However, karenccs67 doesn't including the weekly shop but probably includes some things I leave out. We all do things differently but the important thing is to decide what works for you and which areas you need to concentrate on. Not sure if that's helped or confused even more:o

Right just want to check how we do this (having signed up late last night)Presumably regular bills don't count but what about essentials like food, petrol, kids dinner money etc?

Bought some food today cos am trying to do a special easter lunch tomorrow and ds made a huge hole in his one and only pair of shoes (he is only 3 and scoots around on those little cars that scuff toes right out of shoes!) Didn't buy anything else but not sure I would count it as a nsd iyswim?

Also I work full time so dh does most of the shopping so do I have a nsd if he goes shopping? Sorry for all the questions :o
    Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
    Emergency fund £1000/£1000

Went to Chesington for DS birthday yesterday. OH paid (I'd filed with petrol the other day). Spent some money in the petrol station today though on my way to pick up a freezer I'd bought off Ebay.

So, 1 day so far for me. - I'm trying!

    Good luck everyone : ) :D
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I dont count bills, groceries, fuel, kids dinner money as its all budgeted for. If my OH goes to buy something I dont count that either as he is paying.

NSD no 1 for me today, as I dont count grocery spends, and I stuck to my list and managed to get some of it reduced :j
